Sauti Ya Huru Himyar

Hii ni Radio Basankusu, sauti ya Utangazaji Huru Wa Himyar Kutoka Ngandajika nyumba ya mapinduzi.

Mvalo Chibulunje: Gooooood morning Basankusu Its me ya boy Mvalo and you are tuned into the number one station in all Himyar sending out all the best music, and spreading the truth to the people! This is Mornings with Mvalo bringing you what you need to start your day the right way. So lets get started with some music before we head into the news.

Male voice over: Tensions between the empires of Cyrene and Prydain continue to escalate on the island of Hectorios as fishing vessels belonging to the two nations clash over fishing rights. It is believed the Manx fishermen have been purposely violating Cyrenaic territorial waters in a display of naked contempt for the rights of the Cyrenaic peoples. The Foreign Minister has decried the Manx occupation of Hectorios and condemned the lawlessness of the Manx fishing fleets as " little more than corsairs looking to plunder Himyars riches for their own selfish gain".

In other news it appears that peace between the Central Himyari National Liberation Front and the Republic of Central Himyari may be on the horizon as it is rumoured that elements of the CHNLF may be looking to negotiate following the deaths of General Matodondo and the failed assault on Kalamba city. we will continue to broadcast updates as they unfold.

In domestic news heavy rains have resulted in heavy flooding across Kisangani Province, thankfully there has been no loss of life and only minimal property damage, however expect significant delays travelling in and out of the region.

Mvalo Chibulunje: Well that's the news, hope all your lovely people out in Kisangani stay safe and stay dry. Now here for some more music and then we'll be back with an interview from the Transport Minister who's going to tell us about the latest program of rail upgrades and what that means for you.
