Coordinated Message from the Offices of

from the Republic of Nieveland

Bearing witness to what the wider world is calling the "Gothic Sea Crisis" we in Nieveland are inclined to believe that a deeper and most dangerous syndrome became manifest somewhere within the dynamic of the Tarusan Empire and its array of disorganized post-delegationist neighbors. Our recent commitment, albeit minimal in the grand scale of global armed activity, of the White Helms from our Garda or Army forces proved to these offices and to our Almshouse that some level of armed coordination is not only possible but also necessary with our primarily Catholic partners in the European Forum under White Helms.

This proposal does not quickly remedy the needs of an immediate crisis, however, we firmly believe that events in the Gothic Sea are indicative of a deeper syndrome or disorder that threatens to spread from Central Europe in the long term. Nieveland has selected Captain Charles Hely to head the following proposed effort after having successfully led a White Helm effort on land:

• Able bodies from Nieveland to number no less than 200 will be conscripted to comprise a permanent "White Seal Group"
• The Niomonnach White Seal Group will be comprised of no more than 3 15 person platoons after a rigorous selection process
• Selection, indoctrination, and training must occur away from Nieveland to minimize homeland partiality
• @Ebria, a European Forum and Catholic neighbor has been tapped as the ideal partner for a combined naval response effort and host to training
• Hely and Nievish Seal Groups will defer command coordination to larger Catholic White Helm partners such as Ebria

Although coordination and proposal of this element begins with Ebria we fully expect that its existence will be shared with other Meridian powers in due course. Captain Hely has worked with naval officer Shannon Vespucci of Radilo in past White Helmet efforts and has requested this partnership continue should training and operations be approved by our partners to the east.

The United Kingdom is happy to hear from our neighbours to the west and brothers in Christ in those hard time. Rest assured that we are following the events closely and observe that it is the failures of radical individualism that stand behind the fall into a sponsored anarchy in Gutarike, and the cynical opportunism of Tarusa which has brought us into this grave moment, which sees the nations of Ostmark, Metsamaa, Thuringau and Salen be targeted through a modern, yet very archaic system of gunboat diplomacy, while the rest of the world, dependent on the oil exported by Tarusa and the late Scanlaw, is thoroughly strangled by the plans of politicians who act more as warlords, not caring of the welfare of their citizens, or as they name them in some polities, subjects, but rather only personal gain, in what are probably the world's biggest and most dangerous kleptocracies.

The United Kingdom is a nation that has always believed in the rule of law, hence our turn towards legalism and the European Forum, rather than unilateral actions like the Holy Frankish Empire, which in our opinion, bites more than it can chew, especially as we have reasons to suspect that with the sinking of U-34, the Tarusans are colluding with the Gutes through quietly allowing them to harass shipping, while Tarusa might even be attacking anti-pirate warships behind the umbrella of all sorts of provocations and violation of their own sovereignty.

We are thus glad to aid in the White Helm program of the EF and will receive Nievish White Helm units at our naval base in San Lawrenz in Hamrun. Our current plan is to begin escorting the Ebrian ships through the Gothic Sea to Goterhavn, in Jysken-Ostveg, Metsamaa and Ostmark. We will propose the escort plan in the European Forum to ensure that the White Helm Gothic Sea Mission will enjoy full legality and legitimacy. Should traffic through the eastern Gothic Sea, past Piramida be made too risky, we will concentrate on overland routes from Ebria through Csengia and Germania to Ostmark and Tarusa, while still making an effort to keep the naval corridor open to Jysken-Ostveg and Metsamaa.
