NEWS LEVEL: ORANGE (GONZAGA) The Socialist Republic of Zara followed up reports of placing its military on high alert with a declaration from General Leone that it “is prepared to resist any and all incursions regardless of their origin during this time of crisis and conflict. The Socialist Republic of Zara wants nothing more than to remain strictly neutral and uninvolved in this current conflict.” Active military forces in the Zaran Army and Air Force have been deployed evenly throughout the nation, approximately half to the north and half to the south, including along the southern border with the Republic of Remion. Zaran officials declined to comment as to the reasoning behind the deployment, citing “national security.”

AVALON: The Interior Ministry is scrambling to set up the framework for elections across the mainland & archipelago. The current constitution requires new senate elections be held when a new senate must be inaugurated due to expansion. No Avalon politico is expecting any surprises on the mainland. Virtually every senator who was elected, is going to be reelected according to most recent polling. The interest is in the archipelago. Roughly 60% of Justosian expats identify as leftists/Social Democrats and.....................we are now getting word from our BREAKING department. The palace & administration have decided, for legitimacy's sake, to put the annexation of the rest of the archipelago up for a vote on all four new islands. This is going to be a ride as now as there's a distinct possibility, dare I say probability that all the new islands could vote Social Democrat. Finally, in times of great government reorganization, both parties are inclined to be more aggressive. There's a possibility the constitution will need to be amended as well to enshrine the rights of the new citizens.

NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (Camp Hill)The Students for a Democratic Society, together with the interparty organisation Roadrunners and Bobcats for Peace have come together to Unity Square in Central Camp Hill, in front of the Combs Complex, the headquarters of the Presidency, Government and the Senate, marching for peace. More than 15,000 people have demonstrated in Unity Square and then marched on John Roberts Avenue, where most of the foreign embassies are located, chanting against imperialism and the rise of tensions especially in Gallo-Germania.

NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (GONZAGA) The Socialist Republic of Zara announced a new constitution has been successfully drafted and will be presented to the Zaran people today, where they are encouraged to review it for the next few days leading up to a referendum on whether or not the constitution shall be adopted, and if passed, General Leone stated that, "free and fair elections shall then be held for the Reformed Congress of Zara as well for President of the Zarans." Political analysts have noted how identical the proposed constitution is to the constitution of the neighboring Republic of Remion, albeit with notable socialist reforms and guarantees that would be enshrined into Zaran law. General Leone also stated, when asked about the eligibility of former Congressmen of Eugenia running, that they would not be prevented from doing so, remarking, "As El Presidente of San Jose said, we should not hate the Congressmen, and if they feel that more work is to be done they are free to make their case to the Zaran people."

NEWS LEVEL: RED (GONZAGA) In a stunning move the proclaimed leak that had contacted Sophie Schneider had also contacted a reporter of IL Gazzettino as well via email. In the disclosed information it was revealed that the talks between a member of the Fonda Pact and Tarusa had discussed the future division of Pannonia. The discussions involved the further division of Eugenia between parties, a prisoner exchange, and recognition of the congress and not the Socialist Republic. Whether these negotiations were approved of or even known by all or some members of the those who attended Fonda is up for debate. It is known that the Socialist Republic was not party nor aware of these negotiations occurring behind closed doors.

AVALON: The Foreign Ministry has banned all travel to the Republic of Remion & strongly advises any imperial nationals to leave asap. NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (LE VIEUX BOURG) His Majesty’s Government has a plan in which Porto Tien will be protected by the Guyenasque Royal Navy and recognition of the Second Republic of Remion will continue, albeit headquartered in Porto Tien. Of course this is subject to change should conditions or sympathies in Porto Tien change. Darios Almato and the right wing National Union organised a series of mass demonstrations and protests in the whole of Ebria in solidarity with the new Remis Junta. They. The biggest of those, which has managed to attract no less than a shockingly 300,000 participants in Valls has been dubbed a mammoth demonstration by the authorities, which have stated that they have been taken by surprise by the sheer support the National Union enjoyed. Darios Almato has been one of the most vocal critics of the government of Siveri Massanas and Ada Valen, condemning them for forwarding foreign interests at the expense of Ebrian resources and lives, endangering the realm by tying it with foreign forces ready to go to war and mismanaging the administration of the country, with the standard of living falling sharply thanks to the economic instability brought forward by the Pannonian Crisis. AVALON: The Imperial Senado has voted 53-49 to formally recommend the Santificado Palace restore Julian Nicol Francisco III to the current line of succession. JNF is the grandson of the instigator of the 60's civil war between the empire's Protestants & Catholics. Like his grandfather, Nicol Alphonse Francisco, infamously known as El Rebelde Rey (The Rebel King), JNF is a Tiburan Catholic. This is still a very sore spot for the palace. Their reaction is pending.

NEWS LEVEL: Yellow (Trier) A group of protesters has built up a tent camp in front of the embassy of Tarusa. Their aim is to stage a continuous protest against what they call "Tarusa's continuous actions to destabilise the world" and "Tarusa's instillable hunger for puppets". People will protest in shifts. A comparable tent camp has been built up in front of the embassy of Csengia to protest against "Csengia's continuous violations of human rights". Especially the Inquisition is criticised. The Trierer police indicated that it will allow the protests to go on, but that it will act against escalations.

NEWS LEVEL: Orange (Trier / Montpassart) An enormous protest march of around 200,000 people has started in Trier to protest against the invasion of Bourdignie by the army of the Holy Frankish Empire. The route of the protest march will end in front of the Embassy of the Holy Frankish Empire. Also Montpassart, the French-speaking province of Eiffelland, houses a protest march today. About 50,000 people are marching through the city, not only with slogans against the invasion of Bourdignie, but also with slogans pointing out that Montpassart is Eiffellandian.

NEWS LEVEL: Red (Versoix) About 400,000 people are marching through the streets of Versoix to protest against the invasion of Bourdignie by the Frankish army. The slogans all point at Bourdignie's wish to remain independent. One of the protesters said in a short radio interview: "Bourdignie has been outside the Empire for centuries. We are not Frankish any more. The fact that we speak French does not mean that we should belong to the Empire. Furthermore, the Empire didn't bother about us when Bajorország broke apart, so why should it suddenly include us in the Empire?" The slogan "Empereur fous le camp" (Emperor beat it), based on the hashtag "empereurfouslecamp" that became trending on Twatter during the past week, appears on quite some banners, despite many pleas from the government to keep the slogans polite.

(PETROVGRAD) According to unconfirmed reports, the First Lady of Serbovia Mrs. Magdalena Andelic has been hospitalized at the Sveti Lukas Hospital in Petrovgrad due to a sudden onset of illness. An ambulance escorted by a motorcade of unmarked police vehicles was reportedly seen exiting Petrovgrad's Presidential Palace with emergency lights and sirens on, and later arrived at the Sveti Lukas Hospital. A Glasnik reporter was prevented from entering hospital grounds by hospital security and uniformed Federal Police officers. A press representative for Mr. Dejan Andelic, the President of Serbovia, declined to comment.

AVALON: A small protest of roughly 2,000 people, Nationalists & Social Democrats, is currently taking place in center city near the entry checkpoint to the Government Quarter. The protesters are demanding either the palace, senado, or Foreign Ministry act now to ensure Justosian neutrality in what they say is a coming, near continent wide war. The right to protest is enshrined in constitutional amendment. However the Military Police which oversee the checkpoint into the GQ have made it starkly clear that anyone who tries to enter the GQ unauthorized will immediately be arrested. Mass attempted forced entry into the heart of imperial government will reportedly result in the utilization of lethal force.

NEWS LEVEL: RED (GONZAGA) The Socialist Republic of Zara announced that, following trilateral negotiations between itself, the Tsardom of @Tarusa and the @Remion State, the Zaran government would voluntarily dissolve itself and allow its territory to be annexed by Remion, save for three prominent Serbovian enclaves along the eastern border which would be ceded to the Federal State of @Serbovia, allowing for voluntarily population transfers of Zaran and Serbovian citizens in the surrounding areas. General Leone and several prominent Socialist Republic government ministers will also be granted amnesty to go into voluntary exile. Reports are coming in of confusion and pandemonium among Zaran citizens and low-level government officials in Gonzaga and other Zaran cities subsequent to this shocking declaration, a mixture of spontaneous celebrations and impromptu protests and clashes between the two. General Leone and his closest aides have already departed the country and are en route to San Jose, and could not be reached for further comment or clarification.

(PETROVGRAD) Leaders of the main Serbovian opposition parties have announced a "Freedom March" to take place in Petrovgrad on the 16th of October. The march, jointly organized by the Liberal and Socialist Parties, the Party of Democratic Solidarists and the Pannonian People's Party, is the latest in the series of opposition protests against the ruling Party of National Renewal and Serbovia's ongoing alliance with the Empire of Tarusa. Opposition groups have proclaimed that their aim will be to organize the largest anti-government march seen in Serbovia since this summer's elections. Counter-protests have been announced by groups associated with the ruling party as well as various independent nationalist movements.

NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (PALMIRA) A private plane carrying General Corrado Leone, popularly known in San Jose as Il Generale, and his closest aides has landed in Palmira International Airport. The Zarans have announced they are seeking political asylum related to their voluntary exile following the dissolution of the Socialist Republic of Zara and its partition by the Remion State and the Federal State of Serbovia. Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Gustavo Rodriguez met General Leone at the tarmac, proclaiming that the Grand Archipelagic Republic would accept the Zarans as political refugees. Vice Minister Rodriguez also invited all other Zarans with socialist ideologies seeking safety from potential political persecution to apply for political refugee status in San Jose.

NEWS LEVEL: Red (Barqah) Upon the decision by the European Forum to abolish the EF mandates, Chancellor Azzeddine Bouzariou of Al-Magrab gave a press conference to outline how the resolution will be carried out. He announced that the referendum will take place in the beginning of March 2022. He also indicated that Al-Magrab has a very cordial relationship with Eiffelland, and that it is his preference to let that relationship continue, but emphasised that that will be the decision of the Magrabbines.
