NEWS LEVEL: RED (GOTHENHAGEN) The explosion at a nuclear power complex in Ostmark has rallied the government to begin emergency preparation of iodine tablets for immediate public distribution. "We don't trust the ex-communists," being the refrain from the military which manages public emergency resources. Tablets will be available at fire houses, police stations, pharmacies, schools, and hospitals. Queues have developed at these locations. Thus far, no radioactive isotopes have been detected in any part of the Scanlaw, but it is expected some areas may detect problematic numbers. (KREMLYOV)Officials in the Imperial halls have issued an alert for cities, towns, and villages within 100km of the border regions with Ostmark given the unfolding crisis in Wien. (KREMLYOV) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that with the city of Al-Gharb secure with only the random outbursts of street violence that it has opened the airport of the city to allow evacuations of stranded crews from the harbor. Nine vessels were in the harbor at the outbreak of hostilities and have remained impounded and kept aboard their vessels for safety reasons. A blockade is still currently in effect of the Magrabian coastal region for the time being so the ships will remain in the harbor, but crews will be allowed to fly out to the respective country of ships origin, leaving a caretaker crew aboard. NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (PROPONTIS) A resounding majority of Pelasgians have approved constitutional changes to transform the country into a federal republic, replacing the country's largely ceremonial monarchy with a presidency to be appointed by the federal parliament for a series of 5-year terms. With a turnout of 76%, 69.18% of Pelasgians voted "yes" and 30.82% voted "no" in a national referendum. Pelasgians also voted in elections for the federal Senate, the new upper house, resulting in a strong majority for the National Liberal Union in both houses.​
