While the empire has recognized the polar divorce and the boundaries that have been established, the Empire has chosen to recognize the state with the largest population and economic base of the former Scanian superstate as the rightful legal successor. NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (PROPONTIS) Scandal ensued at the People's University in Pentapolis, after the Student's Union has announced that they will enter a strike until University curriculum won't change and becomes fully technocratic, ending the current status of compulsory Ideological Education, Scientific Socialism and Analytic Iordanism, which all students irrespective of their faculty or departments have to go through. The scandal started after a series of disputes between some students and their professor of Ideological Education at the Faculty of Engineering, and aftermath was the expulsion of the students from the University.​
