NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (GOTHENHAGEN) The Germanic regions of Jysken-Østveg have agreed to organize themselves together as independent identities joined together as an economic league, or Hansa with its base along the sea. The Jysk-Austwegian Government has accepted the league as a part of the union, but some could argue that Jydsken-Østveg is actually part of the league.

There are large worries among the Germanic League states which worry confrontation with Tarusa will surely lead to the reabsorption of former-Bourdignie into Csengia. These talks have progressed suddenly and publicly, and with Metsamaa's unique position as headquarters of the Gothic Sea Pact would allow for these Germanic League nations to avoid any confrontation with Tarusa.

With wholesale oil & gas prices increasing in the international market because of piracy in the Gothic sea, the board of directors from the Prydain's largest energy supplier, Commonwealth United Utilities (CCU) are meeting the Sovereign Investment Council their majority share owner to disuses the current domestic & commercial energy price caps that are due to be reviewed in April.

A source from the CCU has said that the current planned increase in the cap is not big enough due to the instability in the wholesale oil & gas market which is having knock on effect on the cost of utilities bills. They request that the Sovereign Investment Council either lobby the Department of Industry who manage the commercial & consumer pricing framework of which energy prices are capped or increase the company's cashflow to limit any shortfalls.

The Admiralty Board has confirmed that CCG Harlech has been attacked by unknown fast gunboats resulting in an engine room fire which killed seven sailors with another ten injured.

The CCG Harlech is now out of action and was taken back to its home port by the rest of the anti-piracy task group.

With this news the Department of defence has upgrade the task group to a task force with units released from the Commonwealth Army & Airforce to be under command of CNS Vesper.
