(Shinkyô) "Equal under the Law", an Virumaa-based international NGO advocating fair trials and an independent judiciary, has announced that it would pursue legal action against Carlos Francisco II. and other members of the Justosian Imperial Family for slander and denigration. The group states that it would seek to pursue legal action across the various court systems of the Anti-State and has set up a designated fund drive on GiveCash for the public to support the efforts. Stressing that they did not expect tangible repercussions to come about for Carlos Francisco as a result of the campaign, a spokesperson instead hoped that "awareness about the situation in Justosia would be raised" as a result of the proceedings.

The move is part of a coordinated campaign of Equal under the Law outfits in various countries seeking to spread awareness across the globe about what they perceive to be unacceptable activities of the Justosian royals.

(Camp Hill) State President Adrianne Stone has been attacked this morning in Combs House by a man working in the maintenance team of the Federation Complex and stabbed once in the neck and three times in the chest. The police and guards have quickly apprehended the assailant, while the State President has been quickly transported to the Sunbelt University Hospital in the city. She has entered surgery, but the doctors are pessimistic about her chances of survival.

For the first time since taking office in 2017, Governor-General Sinclair has summoned the Commonwealth Security Council into session "in light of the extreme circumstances pertaining to the safety of the Implarian Ocean." The CSC is a 30-member strong body with two Councilors from each State, one elected by the people and one appointed by the Legislatures. It's mandated to come into session for two weeks every six months, but Governor-General Sinclair has yet to call it into session outside of the mandates. The Council is tasked with addressing matters of foreign policy considered "abnormal and beyond the reasonable competencies of the Foreign Commission and House of Delegates."

The often divisive UBSEA, first adopted by the Cussian Legislature in 2008, enhanced and extended the welfare benefits available to the "economically disadvantaged residents" of the Confederated Republic, including provisions for better housing and more substantial healthcare. It likewise restricted or altogether suspended the franchise of those individuals drawing UBSEA benefits, effectively removing their ability to engage in civil discourse or the popular electorate. Capital Security was quoted as saying there had been at least 5,000 individuals gathered outside the Supreme Judiciary, unlawfully, when the decision was made to disperse the crowd for their own safety.

(Williamsport) Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Erskine Hadley was on hand in Williamsport, Sinneccomaca aboard Sovereign, one of Beautancus' Gogmagog-class carriers, today for an inspection of the Cussian Navy's recently augmented (temporarily enlarged) Third, or Silk Sea*, Fleet. Third Fleet had been preparing for the scheduled IMPPAC Exercise for more than a month already when the Fictional Despotate of Justosia, native to the defunct Aurarian colonial dependencies of the Southern Oceans, initiated an unprovoked round of jingoistic provocations towards the nations of the Thaumantic Domain. The Fleet has since remained at the highest level of alert readiness in anticipation of further aggression by the rogue-state, though there have been no instances of territorial violations since last week. Admiral Hadley served as the Commanding Officer of the Third Fleet and first commander of Sovereign (which was completed in January of 2018) before being promoted to CNO nearly two months ago. There is, as yet, no official word on when IMPPAC will commence, though DefSec Albrecht has assured analysts that "the Joint-Naval Exercise has and will not be called off, regardless of provocation or threats issued from those competitor powers foolhardy enough to do so."

The party is the vanguard of the republican movement that wishes to dissolve the Rozvi Kingdom and the Loda Chiefdom and replace them with republics based on the constitutions of the Coastal Republics and the Mbunda State.
