NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (CAITEKURKE ) The Catholic Revolutionary State's foreign office confirmed this Monday that companies from across the pond have begun preliminary negotiations with Nievish Workers Unions to establish factories from the Istavanian or Zlatan private sector. NEWS LEVEL: YELLOW (PALMIRA) In the aftermath of San José's declaration of the suspension of its membership in the Central European Treaty Organization (CETO) and its imminent termination of said membership, the Oficina del Departamento de Relaciones Exteriores has expressed willingness to continue to cooperate with CETO through taking on a greater share of political refugees from former Pannonia currently hosted by numerous CETO states such as @Radilo, @Rheinbund, and @Tianlong. Analysts have noted this is intended to be a diplomatic olive branch, as it were, to ensure good bilateral relations going forward given the timing of Josefino withdrawal.

All previous year students have been granted grandfather status as if their years have been served, however, if for example a four year college student has two years remaining they will be asked to serve two reserve years. This reserve option involves a four years (as opposed to full time two for uneducated) of one weekend a month service alongside a summer long basic training assignment somewhere betwixt.

The press release also indicated the following: "Refugee camps are being built in the North of Lotharingen and Bramsfeld for the first receipt and registrations of refugees. Further south in the country, facilities for longer stay will be constructed. In agreement with Serbovia and Caria, refugees will also be transported to those countries. The Rheinian government thanks the government of San José for its offer to take up refugees as well. It is our aim to solve this issue ourselves as much as possible, but should we receive more refugees than we can handle, we will make use of this offer. The Rheinian government also noted some animosity between two CETO-memberstates and Tarusa. We consider the current events in Tarusa and Csengia internal matters of those countries, and we will leave it to the Tarusans and the Csengians to handle them. However, we do not like to see threats against CETO-memberstates, and we stand with our CETO allies."

NEWS LEVEL: GREEN (PROPONTIS) The government of Prime Minister Themistokles Angelopoulos intends to hold a referendum on amending the Constitution to allow for the direct election of the President. This modification would also submit the cabinet and executive branch to the direct control of the presidency, thereby clearly separating the executive and the legislative branches. The proposed amendment has been submitted to the Judicial Senate of the State for preliminary verification, which it is expected to pass, before being put to a vote later this month.​

(Nevara) It has been reported by citizens of Sankt Katherina and naval officials of the Island that two long endurance submarines have left the harbor on extended patrols of the Silk Sea. Officials would not disclose the area of operations beyond the generalized statement of it being in the Silk Seas. Our own evaluation of the vessels from local boaters is the two submarines appeared to be the largest of the submarines based in Sankt Katherina. This would point towards the ships being the newest class of guided missile submarines.

(Al-Gharb) Surface warships of the Imperial Navy have been spotted leaving facilities in Al-Gharb heading into the Meridian Sea. No official statement about the mission or destination of the vessels has been released by the Ministry of Defense. Speculation swirls that the ships are heading north to enforce a blockade of the Kingdom of Csengia or preparing for combat operations in the Meridian Sea. One of the vessels spotted heading to sea was the battlecruiser Poltava and her three escorts.

NEWS LEVEL: ORANGE (UICHEON) The Tianlong Ministry of Defense released a statement on the activities of the Tarusa Imperial Navy in the Meridian Sea, saying that an attack on any CETO member will not be tolerated. All Tianlong forces in the area have increased their Combat Readiness, preparing for a possible attack by the Imperial forces or one of their insurgent forces.

The Royal and Catholic Navy has heightened its alert levels and will expand its patrol missions along the territorial waters, but also along the economic exclusion zone of Ebria and along the trade routes between the Crown and the Meridian Union nations.
