It was, perhaps, unusual to think them in these waters. but to those that were in the know about the game unfolding in the dark it was rather apparent that they would be. If anything, it would have been more unusual to not find them there.
The small but trustworthy stock of global European merchandise would come in handy in a situation like this. A standard issue Rurikgrad Pact manufactured torpedo procured on the black markets, lying in wait in one of the tubes. They were shadowing the Justosian naval detachment that had recently been engaged in Long Sea adventurism.
If an opportunity presented itself, if the Justosians let slip their guard for but a moment, they would release their payload into the belly of the JRS Francisco, sending her to a well deserved rest at the bottom of the southern seas.
