We are aware of the possible desire for a train tunnel to be constructed on the seafloor separating Lars and Grau, which would greatly reduce travel time by current circuitous train routes, slow ferries and costly and inefficient short haul flights.
Standard Heavy Industries is a global construction firm that specialises in large, complex heavy construction projects such as tunnels, bridges and skyscrapers. Some of our successful projects are completion of two cross-harbour MRT metro tunnels and one expressway tunnel in Vrijpoort; land reclamation for the manmade island where the new Vrijpoort Transcontinental Skyport sits, the Skybridge that links said island to Batavië island where Vrijpoort is located; the Pearl Harbour skyscraper complex in central Vrijpoort and many other projects.
