The 1st Army had been racing up the coast for almost 10 hours now. They had met only light resistance. Scouts reported, finally, significant enemy troop formations. They had assumed they'd been spotted. Quickly they drew their artillery into a strategic shelling position.

The tanks hurled forward through the decimated town! Absorbing enemy fire as they brought their main guns to bear & unleashed hell. The troops of the Expeditionary Corps de Royale took cover behind what they could as they exchanged fire with the communist scum. The artillery joined the chorus of death now. Not to be outdone, upon request, the 2 Justosian guided missile frigates launched a 4 salvo at the communist coastal force currently bombarding the allied Occitan troops. The battle raged....

More than 2 weeks later the main & full Justosian Allied Force had finally assembled & mobilized. They began the final offensive. A pincer formation upon the northern most part of the Brecostan coast where the last & main force of Communist terrorists were holed up. The east & west armies were led by an armoured column of 25 tanks each. Deflecting the vast majority of enemy fire. The artillery shelled from the highest proximal vantage points.

It was a fullsade now. Orders were given to take no prisoners. The pincer closed as they literally began driving the enemy into the sea. This was the end.

 

[Occitania]

Neuquela was captured after some losses but 5,000 regular troops and 9,000 guerrilla soldiers continued to man the region that the Occitan and Justosian troops centered in on. 7,000 Troops South of Neuquela attempted to hold the Occitans off while many troops fled to the North of Neuquela. The communist airforce supported them in this venture. The Occitan squadrons of destroyers were right in the path of the 20 reinforcing planes which took heavy damage but so did the Occitans as the airforce focused their attention on bombarding the fleet. Thus it was decided to retreat from the area. A corvette had to be abandoned. The lack of the squadrons of destroyers in the North allowed the communist airforce to focus on the largest threat, the advancing army which was threatening to put the communists off the main island. Also it allowed the communists to begin fleeing to Antibrecosta.

On the main island, the Brecostans were cut into 2 main forces separated by Neuquela. The war in Occitania had been won by now and the spirit of resistance was not at its height anymore but guerrilla war continued on land that had been liberated by the allied armies. A new governor, Vícenç Pol was proclaimed by Occitania. His policies were mainly of the crown but he did nothing about Occitan supremacist vigilantes among the population. With troops freed up from the Northern frontier, the Occitans could prepare a naval invasion of Antibrecosta, however due to the communist air superiority, a naval invasion on a scale enough to establish a long-lasting foothold would be impossible. So with the communists being cleared out of most cities in the North, the Governor of Brecosta moved to establish an armistice.
