First, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Crazy Kwanzaa, and Happy Festivus to all. I hope your holiday is safe and joyous. For those new faces and those returning around here, I hope your stay so far has been pleasant. Though we have had some rough months over the past year from various differing approaches to how the game/forum/setting should be to lapses in activity, I hope you have found that myself, [MENTION=16]Engellex[/MENTION], [MENTION=1187]Ivernia[/MENTION] and of course [MENTION=1]Kashtan[/MENTION] have made things a bit easier. A big thanks to [MENTION=16]Engellex[/MENTION] for the map work and [MENTION=1187]Ivernia[/MENTION] for moderating alone for some time. Of course we must thank [MENTION=1]Kashtan[/MENTION] for doing all the things he does as our dear leader.

As a little xmas present, the upper tech limit is now 1959 (tread carefully).

Well the previous tech limit was 1958. The tech limit for sometime has been date+2 years. Looking at people accepting restraint in some areas and being reasonable in others, I think we can continue the principle of 2 year tech limit. However, sudden adoption in january of something major that appeared in 1959 , without any prior RP, will receive wrath.
