Here is some details behind my claim to C:2... which is still a claim...
Kauai:
Since the ealry 1600's the Old KIngdom had held onto this territory, which it used as a naval base in the Green Sea. After the Helenan Revolution, Kauai was the only territory not to be granted independence. This understandably angered many Kauains. However it took them almost 300 years before they organized a full-scale revolution. In the year 1968 the Kauains many Kauains took arms and attacked John Shepard Naval Base on the southern half of Big Kauai Island. The attack failed, but still the Kauain Revolutionaries attacked other Helenan troop positions on the island for a period of 6 months. Eventually however, 1st Fleet was called in to intervene, and for the next 6 months the revolutionaries were crushed. At the end of the war however, Helena allowed the Northern half of Big Kauai Island to become an Anarchical society. For 41 years North Kauai's society has thrived peacefully, while a terrorist organization known as the Collective recruits young Kauain men to be trained in guerilla war in preparations for either an assualt or an expected re-invasion by Helenan forces. It is not clear yet which is the Collective's reasonings behind recruiting and training soldiers.
Nowadays, the territory of Kauai still under Helenan control is used as the base of operations for the massive oil operations that provide the other 50% of power that coal cannot provide for Helena, making Kauai an absoluetly crucial territory for the Helenan economy.

Dominated doesn't mean solely occupied by. Guiana, for example, sounds rather Cariban to me. And I believe Both Guiana and Anglyn have or had some indigenous population that was non-Indo-European.
I'm not one to be defending Helena's shenanigans which are often dumb. But in this case there could be dumber. And more linguistic and ethnic diversity is something a lot of our regions could use.

Unless otherwise stated, a new island will be added west of Eirann for Telora, who has for some time been a Nordic country, and because of lack of space. Also, I don't think a new island there will throw any history out the window (in fact it probably legitimizes some Borean nations claims to have been able to access the continent before the discovery of things like the compass)

To be honest to god, I'm quite against this. We have SO MUCH land at the bottom of the map. If everyone just wants to play around up there, let's delete the bottom of the map and just expand the north. The demographics of our map are just getting ridiculous.
Agreed. Plus the 'Great' Sea is already too cluttered with random island. It used to be my island and one or two others. Today there are two massive ones, which have created the new 'Fisherman's Sea'. It's hardly a large, open ocean, which I believe we have always lacked.

I would prefer to go at the North of the map, given what I've already written up about Telora and tried to RP it as a northern state, so this was an attempt to crowbar me in a slot that fits in with that. There is an awful lot of space in the south of the map, yes; but either I'd have to re-write the entire history of Telora (something I'm not inclined to do, personally) or make up some godawful myth about migrants. A reshuffle may be in order. Of course, if a higher power decrees there's to be no space for me and I need to rewrite, then I'll have to do something about it.
