WIEN (Ostmark) -
The Great Fire of Wien, May 2021. This is how future generations of ostwave-enthusiasts will remember International Ostwave Festival 2021. As the one week long party reaches its conclusion, tonight at Eastern Lights Dance&Dinner Club, manager and owner Mark Adelberg, AKA Laserwehr, has released official datas from the club management. Over 47.000 visitors in a span of seven days have filled the dancefloors of Eastern Lights, 12 hours a day. Over thirty Ostwave artists performed such as Futurevolk, Hedwig Allinger, Disco Abteilung, Veronica Dunaidh and Helmine Duberstein. And, of course, the King of the Ostwave Sound: Laserwehr himself.

Dozens of songs, instumental tracks, about fourty disco balls and dozens of neons and lasers and a very cool fog machine have created the perfect Ostwave atmosphere in an event that "Not only represents a very important event for Ostwave and Electronic Dance Music in general" says Mark Adelberg "But also for Wien, and for Ostmark as a whole. Never, in my life, i have seen so many people looking for nothing but fun in a friendly environment like ours. This is Ostmark's rebirth. This is where we write a new page. Long live Ostwave, long live Ostmark!" he continued
"And who will save the world from war, and violence, and sorrow and sadness? Tell me, who? I'll tell you who: Ostwave will, with its magic, and its unique feeling of happiness and joy. Make Ostwave, not war!".

WIEN (Ostmark) - No Ostmarkian music artists can claim to have become as popular as T&J to foreign audiencies. The Ostwave duo composed of Tobias Rutter and Jonas Stauder and their latest track, Sunset Roadster, has been downloaded over 60.000.000 times in the far eastern nation of @Tianlong as of late February, where less they would expect it. "That's like over ten times the population of Ostmark" said Tobias "It's unbelievable, but we want to show our love and affection to our far eastern fans by announcing a two weeks tour in Tianlong. It's the least we can do and we can't wait to visit such a beautiful nation inhabited such a beautiful people" added Jonas.

The two artists said they are thrilled the upcoming tour in the far east which they regard as "The most exotic travel we could dream of". Ostwave artists have rarely crossed the borders of Ostmark or Germania in general and the unprecedented wave of success, aswell as the tens of millions of fans in the populous far eastern nation, might be the key to their global success.

T&J's tracks are often romantic but strict to the 'Eastern Sound' rhytmics that find their roots and origins in 80s synthetizers and basslines "At first 80s equipments such as synthetizers and drum machines were the only available equipments in Ostmark mostly due to a lack of imports during the National-Syndicalist regime. Today those sounds, made by those outdated and vintage instruments, are the signature of Ostwave, the Sound of the East. Apparently it goes way far to the east than i was initially expecting" commented Mark Adelberg, AKA Laserwehr, the pioneer and King of the Ostwave sound.

"OSTWAVE IS DEAD, LONG LIVE OSTWAVE!"
Interview with world-famous King of the Ostwave Sound, Mark Adelberg a.k.a. Laserwehr.

Klara Feld: Hello Mark and welcome to Ostwave Underground Collective.

Mark Adelberg: Hello Klara, it's a pleasure to be here.

Klara Feld: So, your new album came out a few days ago and it's titled "Ostwave is dead, long live Ostwave". I've listened to all 11 tracks and i've noticed there are hardly any traces of the iconic sounds and rhytmics of the Eastern Sound. This new sound is way faster and high-energy styled than any previous Ostwave track. My question is: is Ostwave dead?

Mark Adelberg: Ha. Well.. no. Ostwave is not dead: it has successfully evolved into something new, into something fresh, into something filled to the bones with cosmic energy and sexy female voices. New basslines, new synthetizers, new technology. This is New-Ostwave.

Klara Feld: So basically you're telling me we've finally made it into the 90s?

Mark Adelberg: I guess i can kinda agree with that statement, but let's make it clear: Ostwave is not about copying the past or refusing to accept the present and the future. Ostwave is about bringing togheter the best of the past and use it to make the present and the future a better place. Ostwave went from being a censoreship-proof, instrumental niche genre played in my little apartment in Wien during the years of Grasser to a world-wide phenomena listened by tens of millions of people on the other side of the planet. In Tianlong for example but also in Germania and in the Rheinbund, in Himyar, in Westernesse. In my club Eastern Lights we have hundreds, thousands of tourists every week who take one of those low-cost flights to Wien just to experience a true Ostwave night. Isn't that beautiful?

Klara Feld: Indeed it is. But do you think your fans and the fans of Ostwave in general will accept the changes you've proposed in your latest album? Or do you think Ostwave will split into several branches, such as one strictly tied to its origins, or will the genre as a whole fully evolve into this new high-energy style?

Mark Adelberg: Ostwave has already evolved. It evolved to survive just like a prehistoric animal wound do. The market is over-saturated with productions that sound identical. We've basically ran out of ideas and this is the time to move forward and show the world that Ostwave will not become a derelict of the electronic dance music galaxy, but it will lead it and set new standards very quickly. EDM artists come to Ostmark just to record their tracks with our equipments because our equipments are extremely rare and the sounds they make are so unique and so distinctive that you can hardly make an Ostwave track unless you come here into one of our recording studios.

Klara Feld: You went all-in, haven't you?

Mark Adelberg: Of course. I'm a music producer and everytime i release a track it's like i'm making a bet. Will stereos break windows apart or will people change radio station everytime they hear it? I'm ready to go all-in, i'm already all-in.

Klara Feld: Thank you for this interview Mark.

Mark Adelberg: My pleasure Klara, and long live Ostwave.
