"Clear. The same will happen with us sending troops to Bourdignie to keep it safe.

In the meantime, what are we going to do with the socialist republic emerging in Kispest? I think that we should recognise it. If we don't, we will get many questions to answer, and we will provide Tarusa and the PRR a reason to say that we don't recognise the socialist republic in Kispest because it does not abide by our ideologies. Therefore, I think we should recognise it."

"The Federation, after some consideration has voted for the Verdugo Peace Plan and against the Galan Plan. While we were planning on building up Bourdignie as an ally capable of standing on it's own with Federation assistance, we can still do this without bases in Bourdignie. We thank our Eiffellander friends for offering bases in their sourthern region. An offer that we intend to take up as we build our friendship in the region and our power as like minded nations against the threat of anti-democratic nations such as Tarusa and the Rus. As for recognition of the Socialists in Kispest, the Federation will need to consider it internally before making a decision."

"Colleagues,
air operations within the NFZ continue without major obstacles, we can say that we have absolute control of the skies. Furthermore, the air forces of Pannonia, the great majority of them, have surrendered themselves under our control. These are the positive of today.

On the west front, we have Vrijpoort military involvement on the ground. I do not hide the adversity that our government has towards the recent actions of this city-state. What's more, their idea of calloborations envisions us as spectators at their show. I don't think your intentions, like Tibur's, are to be spectators. To avoid loading the duty of having to monitor the actions of Vrijpoort, we will strengthen our air presence in the west area by 20%, this should give a clear signal to the city-state.

Regarding the recent activities of the ZLA, we inform you that we carried raids with special forces inside Pannonia and captured two leaders of the terrorist group, who are awaiting trial in Remion. Given the delicacy of the case, we will send a part of the observers stationed in west zara to investigate the latest terrorist attack by the ZLA group. The team will need to gather evidence of the group's activity and modus operandi in order to add further charges to the two leaders under arrest in Remion."

"Thank you for the update.

Meanwhile, like always in the Pannonian Crisis, the situation in Kispest is rapidly changing. Currently the city is under siege with an uncertain outcome. Therefore, a recognition of a socialist republic in Kispest is premature. We issued a statement indicating that we will recognise whichever kind of country emerges from the siege of Kispest."

" Colleagues
our intelligence services which are monitoring the activity of the Rus', have released an interesting statement. It is recent news, the increase in the number of communications that we connect to the consequent accumulation of forces in the western part of Hradreych. The nature of the ongoing operations is completely unknown, but we urge colleagues from the Kingdom of Eiffelland to be alert."

ooc: The news is in accordance with the die roll, as agreed with the player.

"Colleagues,
I believe the time is now ripe for there to be a meeting in person between our states in Tibur, to discuss the crisis in Pannonia and learn from these disastrous events. While waiting for the political machinery of the European Forum to take action and urge the members to respect the resolution, we note with concern a certain slowness in the action of this body. Slowness that has allowed a respectable nation to collapse in on itself, in the middle of Europe.

Since the incessant noise of the Rus' boots reaches our fertile valleys, and the economic interest of the already rich oligarchic class of Vijpoort dominates in the East. We, remion peopol, we believe it is necessary, through the most transparent and cordial cooperation between equals, to establish an agreement, which will allow us to realize a safe path for the future of our nations.

Join us in the next meeting in Tibur to build our future."

"I also think it is good to meet in person. I am happy to attend this meeting. For the case of cases, I will discuss within the Cabinet that Minister of Defence Jean-Marc Dupont will act as commander-in-chief while I'm in Tibur."

OOC: I will continue this topic, since I do not see a real need to open a new one, if not for mere aesthetic reasons.

The date for the famous meeting had now come, and all the streets of Tibur could be observed operations to welcome foreign leaders being completed. Extreme prevention and counter-terrorism missures have been taken in Tibur, such as the establishment of a no-fly-zone throughout the city, marksman on the roofs of the city and the deployment of an impressive number of police officers. The street of the car parade, following the welcome at the international airport, has been programmed to follow the historic avenues of the city with its monuments dating back to when the city was the capital of the Tibur Empire. Many citizens of Remion recognized themselves as direct descendants of that historical period, and are proud of it.

At the arrival of the Federation and Eifelland emissaries, the President Hulm himself would be waiting for them at the airport, ready to welcome them to Tibur. An armed forces marching band in addition to the Presidential Guard would be paying homage to welcome guests.

The government plane carrying Chancellor Rheinfeld landed on the airport. It was not the first time for him to arrive here. At secondary school, he had made a one-week school excursion to Tibur. Furthermore, after that, he had travelled here once on a vacation trip. He knew that Tibur was a very beautiful city. He would enjoy the Remian hospitality more than he would enjoy the flashy and pompous hotel where the Vrijpoorters wanted to receive him.

The Chancellor walked down the stairs and greeted President Hulm: "Good morning, Your Excellency, thank you for hosting this meeting."

Chancellor Rheinfeld sent a message to President Langley and President Hulm:

"Dear Sirs, there are some issues we have to discuss. Is it possible that we hold a videoconference again?

First we have to discuss Tarusa. It is needed that we show a hard line to that country, indeed in the form of economic sanctions, like the government of Hivdrige demands, by removing Tarusa from the Council of Guaranteeing Powers, like among others suggested by the government of San José, and also by means of military actions. Eiffelland is willing to do so, but has to take into account that Tarusa is a neighbourcountry, and is licking its lips while looking at Ostmark. It remains to be seen whether Eiffelland will be able to fight a two-front war against Tarusa.

Another issue is Vrijpoort. Did you read the following news message from the European Press Association:

On the longer term, it may be an idea to reduce the amount of financial transactions by Westernessian, Remian and Eiffellandian companies conducted in Vrijpoort, but that won't solve the issue on the shorter term. Is there a way in which we can make it cheaper and less cumbersome to the Bourdignians and Eugenians to transfer money internationally without risking that Vrijpoort puts sanctions on Westernessian, Remian and Eiffellandian banks?

If not, then I'm afraid that we have to become a bit friendlier towards Vrijpoort. In any case, that country invited me to a luxury hotel for discussing out an agreement on some things. We are pushing them to agree to lower-key talks between senior diplomats at the Eiffellandian embassy in Vrijpoort first. That is needed anyway. But first and foremost: There is a difference between me and pre-Kovács Pannonian politicians: I am not for sale, and I don't need Vrijpoorter deep pockets to fulfil my ambitions.

The Response of the President of the Republic of Remion, Hulm.

"The Presidency of the Republic has no opposition to continuing with the video conference meetings.

Tibur fully supports Eiffelland's request regarding removing the Tarusa Empire from the Council of Guaranteeing Powers. At present, we are engaged in a military campaign in the Republic of Eugenia, with the aim of re-establishing the borders recognized by the peace agreement of the Forum Europe. We believe that economic / political sanctions against the Tarusa Empire are also necessary. We will support any proposal you make on this at the European forum.

As for Vrijpoort and their violation of international law, for being the financial center of the world, it caught us off guard. It is a military occupation of a neutral country. We fully agree that their actions are unprecedented and in need of extraordinary countermeasures. In order to avoid an armed confrontation with Remion, the city-state of Vrijpoort has requested an emergency meeting, in which however we do not have much confidence given the zero interests by the part of the aggressor to mediate.

We strongly support the need to hit the "financial center" and economic heart of the city, with sanctions, only then, when the largest economies in the world sanction the city and thousands of investors flee Vrijpoort, we could negotiate."

"Well, let's give those talks with Vrijpoort a chance before we impose sanctions. But despite that, it is a good idea to create a few more financial centres to bypass Vrijpoort on the longer term; at this moment, that country has too much power.

For Tarusa being removed from the Council of Guaranteeing Powers, let's see if we can make that country leave voluntarily first.

"Dear Sirs, first of all my heartfelt sympathy because of the tragedy in the seas west of Sant Elia. Is there a way that we can help you by producing supplies for your armed forces? At this moment, Eiffelland has to remain quiet to avoid endangering Ostmark, but we may be able to help out with material. For instance, we are about to replace the Magarus P4T4 tanks of one tank batallion with P4T7 tanks. We could send the old P4T4 tanks to you, or the new P4T7 tanks. We are talking about 68 tanks which are availabe immediately. We won't be able to build new ships for you within days or weeks, but we can build helicopters and planes for naval surveillance. They can be available soon. We can also deliver missiles, Infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers and ammunition."
