Economic and Development Organization Championed in Bécs
The new group is designed to help regional cooperation in the often maligned and violent Germanian Continent

KISPEST — A huge development in regional stability has been advocated by Prime Minister János Csonka. Apparent news leaked thus far suggests that all neighbors from Eiffelland, Serbovia, Remion, and Vremden are all invited. Additionally a hand has been extended to Tarusa and Kurkhazia with the hope that these more distanced nations will be willing to join in on their own terms from time to time.

The political and economic impact this would have in Pannonia is considered important due to its place as important crossroads between north, south, east and west. Markets have gone up on the news with the hope that this could signal huge growth for many of the corporations in the region.

This could be seen as a natural progression of Germania’s steady march towards democracy. Although the democrats in charge of all these affairs also have their own interests in the economics behind this all, the interconnection between these nations economically should also help prevent wars.

Prime Minister Csonka when questioned about his motives and heavy investments had no comment other than, “We all have much to gain by working together.”

Government Announces Military Spending Deal with Eiffelland
• Deal is meant to solidify relations with Eiffelland
• Announcement pleases German nationalists
• Purchase should improve dilapidated Army technology

KISPEST — Prime Minister János Csonka appeared before the press today to announce a key development in the modernization of the Pannonian Military. Confirmed by the Government was the purchase of 50 Magarus P4 Main Battle Tanks and 25 Magarus I4 Infantry Fighting Vehicles. Added onto the order at the last moment were 5 Magarus P4 platform bridge laying units after a good demonstration from the Magarus proving range.

The decision to go with Eiffelland’s Magarus was swift and spoke to the rather forceful way of the Csonka Government. His own constituents praised the move as the richer more conservative German populous have often desired to keep relations with Eiffelland strong. Relations with Eiffelland have been important for Bajorország over the last 200 years, as better fortunes have come along with Eiffellander economic support.

Meanwhile the horrible, no good, useless, position the Army has found itself since its initial investments in tanks in the 1960s and their refurbishment in the 1980s can finally feel more modern and ready for defense in the 2020s. The Army has been simply unable to keep up with the military developments of all surrounding nations as it pushed heavily into air force projects that never came to fruition. Notably the Excalibur project designed to be able to shoot down airplanes and ICBMs with laser beams.

A more practical military spending budget in the modern era is seen as helpful to a country that may be one of the poorer ones in Germania. The Csonka Government has stated it will continue to cast a wide net when looking to further modernize the military but does not rule out further purchases from Eiffelland.

Dear Sirs at the Kurkhazian Press Office,

The people in Bajorország are not aware of the unrest and collaboration of Eiffellander motor vehicles in the suppression of peoples. We kindly ask that you refrain from the slander of Eiffellander business interests which support a great deal of the industry and wages of the Bajorók people. Pending our own pending arms deals, we are interested in hearing more about the potential involvement of companies of Eiffelland in activities of suppression or even war crimes.

Government Recognizes Old Republic of Ostmark
• The happenings in Ostmark have captivated the entire world this week
• German nationalists have a mix of outrage and approval
• Outrage over news from Kispest rather than Bécs that came without early support

KISPEST — The news from Ostmark came in waves. First the end of a regime, interrupted by a countermove from the old guard. The initial shock internationally was one of surprise and condemnation. Prime Minister János Csonka himself admitted that the march of democracy in Ostmark appeared lost. Even still, the odd step taken by Bajorország was that no condemnation occurred.

A member from the German National Association, Robert Müller (23) reflected his own rollercoaster of emotions. “I think we in the German community were incredibly upset that our own government just accepted whatever outcome would happen in Ostmark. If the old regime still continued, they were fine with this. Absolutely outrageous.” The upswing was the fact that everything turned out alright anyhow. “I think that we are early to recognize the Republic of Ostmark is good. But it annoys me the news comes from the Csengan capital in Kispest. This news should have come from Bécs.”

As the new tricolor flew over the Ostmarker embassy in Kispest, a crowd gathered to cheer. Kispest is where most government functions in Bajorország occur anyhow. Bécs is known mostly as the former Imperial capital and today where only the President resides.

Prime Minister Csonka has stated that he wants to try to explore ways to improve the stability of the new democracy; however, he reluctantly agreed that there was not much that could be done without Eiffellander support. “In reality, the situation in Ostmark can only be secured by the people of Ostmark and perhaps with the help of Eiffelland,” he elaborated when asked if Bajororzság could play a key role.

Either way, the political dynamics in Germania have changed rapidly and the continued decline of communism will have repercussions to political dynamics in a region so opposed to socialist doctrine.

The Elbarone government hopes that recent events will not lead to counter-intuitive migratory movements towards the south - we trust in the ability of the nations in the region to adequately respond and formulate, in unison, a plan for the permanent stabilization of Ostmark and for its prosperity and integration in a framework of regional cooperation.

Abortion Abuse from Vistarika Causes Panic in Parliament
• Hightower Herald reported women from Metinna Province arriving in caravans
• Abortion tourism in Bajorország to be investigated
• Parliamentarians demand ban on Abortion

KISPEST — The latest news from neighboring Vistarika’s Hightower Herald took some time to make it across the border, but once it did an emergency session was called for in Parliament. The members of the current ruling National People’s Party have demanded that a ban on abortions be made immediately to prevent such a gross abuse of law.

While the session has yet to yield any official government action, Prime Minister Csonka has urged calm, but stated no less that action would be taken soon. “This is a violation of the trust of our people. To abuse our freedoms for our people to commit mass genocide is unbelievable.”

Not all agree however. The Socialist Party countered with their statement reading, “Abortion is a right for all woman in Bajorország, and if we start to look for villains from abroad, next we will find them from within. An assault on a woman’s right to choose is the same no matter where the woman is from.”

The Socialist Party does not have the votes, but has commanded enough sway to delay any rash laws or sweeping measures.

Until then, passionate Tiburan Catholics have been queueing near the border holding signs that read biblical scriptures and shame travelers across the border as baby murders.

Prime Minister Csonka has expressed regret though, “I really wishes such matters would not be happening as we celebrate Christ. We must embrace God and our families first. We will investigate this and bring forth the right changes to end these abuses.”

Abortions Crisis to be Voted on When Parliament Returns from Christmas Break
• Prime Minister Csonka Wants A Ban on All Abortions
• Abortions at the very least will be Banned to Foreign Nationals
• NGOs Worry that Sweeping Bans Will Harm Women

KISPEST — Although Parliament is not in session as Parliamentarians take their Christmas Holidays, the political rumor mill keeps spinning as politics carries on even when not in the office. One thing is certain, foreign nation nations will not likely be allowed to have an abortion in Bajorország. The abortion laws will likely ban foreign women beginning sometime in the next year, most estimating that such a ban will occur soon after the New Year.

The next big question will be how far limitations will extend to women in Bajorország as law makers want to continue to make the process as difficult as possible. Abortion itself has never been outlawed in the past, but has often been a difficult procedure to do by convention.

New regulations will automatically require identification which can be troublesome for many women seeking the procedure and not wanting to be traced or outed to friends and family. Identification being the obvious necessity in order to prevent foreigners.

Prime Minister Csonka is not pleased with only this new impediment. He wants to extend the ban across all citizens. “There is no reason for an abortion. These are God’s mysterious gifts to us, and we should not shrink away from the challenges that God prepares. Instead we should welcome them with open ambition and strength. I want to ban abortion because it is murder. It is also a loser mentality.”

Csonka’s words have caused outrage among women’s groups, which have demanded his resignation. He refused flatly.

Women’s groups also suggest that these sweeping bans will likely be detrimental to women in the workplace, as their careers might not be under their control any more. Additionally, mental health can be impacted and babies with disabilities may be forced to come to term.

Abortions to Become Illegal in Most Cases
• Prime Minister Csonka achieved a near total ban
• Foreign Nationals cannot get abortions without fulfilling same criteria
• Protests Staged Across the Nation

KISPEST — Parliament decided
officially to make 99% of all abortions illegal after the frenzy of abortion tourism consumed the national discourse over the holiday break. While the vote and debate was contentious, the opposition managed to make abortion on grounds of disabilities, rape, and harm to the mother as legally acceptable abortions. The rather strict grounds have increased speculation that women will travel to Vrijpoort for abortions in normal situations. The legislation makes it criminal to engage in an abortion abroad, but it would be impossible to know in most situations.

"If a woman wants an abortion she will figure out how to do it, with or without a doctor, safely or unsafely. This law only causes harm to women that decide they cannot have a baby," argued a protester in Bécs. Bécs and many of the other urban regions across Bajororzág have largely been opposed to the legislation. Women protested outside of Parliament, and fearful for the safety of Parliamentarians, the protesters were removed by water cannon. The protests are expected to continue at least until February.

The topic has divided the nation deeply along rural and urban lines and this typically includes religious versus non-religious societal cleavages.

Prime Minister Csonka empathized with the protestors, "I feel their pain because it is never a great feeling to be told you cannot do something you always could do before. This is best for society however, and they will understand in the future."

Women's groups have retorted that the Prime Minister could never understand what it feels like to be a woman.

The legislation is to come into effect on 1 Feb.

Abortions Crisis is Now an International Crisis After Mysterious Shots Kill Zaran Woman
• Prime Minister Csonka Downplays Responsibility for Unrest and Murder
• Nations and NGOs From Around the World Criticize Bajororzág
• Protests Will Enter 5th Straight Day

KISPEST — The Bajoran shot heard around the world. The situation in Bajororzág has grown more turbulent as a Zaran woman identified as Francesca Zaccagni, climbed a barrier in front of Parliament to protest the new Ending Immoral Abortion Act of 2021 that took effect today. Without any warning three gunshots were heard and she who represented the tallest protester at the time tumbled at least a meter to the ground. Francesca died on the spot as the crowd dispersed and medics were unable to save her. The mystery is who shot her.

The prelude to these protests could be seen internationally as protests gathered outside of the Bajororzág's embassies in places like Serbovia. Vrijpoort offered abortion tourism services. Neighboring Remion would refuse to disclose the identity of any Bajoran that received an abortion. Even as far as the Federation, asylum has been offered to women who may be prosecuted under this new law. Prime Minister Csonka has downplayed all this, "They incite violence in Bajorország with their supposed modernism, but they forget the consequences on the ground. They have incited violence and the murder of a young lady. This blood is not on our hands."

It is not clear that the international community will agree. The Zaran population of Bajororzág does not anyhow. Clearly shown on news cameras around the world, another Zaran woman only identified as Francesca's mother has pointed to pictures of the murder scene sobbing, "Look how they massacred my girl!"

Zarans are Bajororzág's Modern Tiburan, or Zaran Tiburan speaking community. Bordering Remion, Vrijpoort, and the sea they tend to form a bloc when voting and have been part of the realm since the 18th century. As a whole they tend to share many values with the Remis and have been adamantly opposed to the abortion law.

However, there is now a mystery at play. Who shot and killed Francesca Zaccagni? Bullets confirmed from the scene register as the same type of ammunition fired from the weapons that the Army uses. The Army has stood guard near Parliament the last three days. While Zarans have demanded justice from the traitors in the Army that would shoot at their fellow citizens, the inventory of all rifles and small arms were checked. Not a single weapon was discharged. Bullet casings could not be found either. Firearms laws prohibit the kind of weaponry used by the military in civilian hands without special permit, but additionally, no rifles of this variety have been permitted to any civilians.

A special Military Police representative, Colonel Victor Schumann spoke to the press before nightfall, "My grandfather maintained that when you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. If we did not fire those bullets, another man did." So to speak, the Army is now suggesting that a murder or assassin is now on the loose. This complicates matters as protestors have declared they will return to Parliament tomorrow as protests enter their fifth day.

Francesca Zaccagni Murder and Abortion Crisis Hits Day 22
• ONS Believes Murder is Politically Motivated
• All Active Service Personnel Are Cleared
• Serbovian Parliamentary Minority Leader Uses Crisis As Leverage

KISPEST — The Office of National Security (ONS) released their findings from the confines of their headquarters located several blocks away from the main protests which have continued for the last twenty-two days. Protests have been demanding answers for the murder of Francesca Zaccagni and continued the demands to repeal the new abortion law. The main findings absolved the military of any immediate wrong doing at the scene of the crime, and placed the murder at the hands of likely a civilian that has stolen a military weapon. The ONS discovered relaxed and protocol in relation to weapons inventory storage and accounting. Over 20kg of C4, 70 firearms, and 5,000 rounds are unaccounted for at Ujbuda Military Depot where security guards routinely failed to completely count items returned after training exercises, and inventory checks were not regularly conducted.

"Failures in base security have likely contributed to the death of Francesca Zaccagni, and our investigation believes, but cannot prove, that the murderer likely had access to military supplies. The murderer is likely to have recovered the bullet casings as they cannot be found at the crime scene. Our investigation placed the bullet trajectory based on camera footage of the murder taking place, to be from the rooftop of a nearby business complex. The bullets recovered are of the same type used by the military, and so we can make a lot of assumptions, but there is simply no conclusive evidence as to who the shooter may be."

ONS officials have begun a manhunt in relation to employees that work at the business complex assuming that the shooter might have expansive knowledge of the security systems and camera placement at the office. However, the nature of the investigation suggests premeditation.

Protestors are upset that no military officials or soldiers have been charged with any offenses, although the military has also stated that it will begin an investigation into the military depot security issues.

The chaos of the endless and disruptive protests are beginning to create outrage in political circles. an ethnic-Serbovian member of Parliament Zoltán Kovács has declared that the protestors must be removed, "We should just march in the security forces, the police, even the army, remove this rabble before they threaten the foundations of our civilization. Zaccagni's murder is probably a false flag or set up by the Tiburan separatists."

Kovács words have played directly into the hands of the people in Zara which have demanded that he resign on protest banners.

The chaos worries some in Parliament. "We do not want to urge anything rash, but the question of violent counter-protestors and the possibility that they may be armed with illicit weaponry raises the question as to if we can assure anyone's safety moving forward," an MP that wished to remain anonymous suggested.

If need be, the FDI is prepared to offer the assistance of our experienced forensic scientists to the Bajorok investigators investigating the death of Ms. Zaccagni. Additionally, Bajorok investigators are offered access to our forensic-technical facilities and their resources should such a requirement arise.

Zaccagni Protest Attacked by Counter-Protest, At Least 20 Dead
• Counter-Protests Marched in the Name of Zoltán Kovács
• Military and Police Scorned For Lack of Action
• Prime Minister Csonka Places Blame on Protests

KISPEST — A powder keg exploded in Kispest as the 24th day of protests were met by counter-protests demanding an end to ongoing protests. While these protests happened in close proximity, the Military and Police were assigned to continue their guard of Parliament. What happened next is hard to understand but again there were two gunshots, similar to the Zaccagni murder. What happened next was chaotic as police could no longer hold the line between groups of protestors and counter-protestors equipped with batons and knifes engaged the protests with indiscriminate violent fervor.

"We are not equipped for this kind of engagement. We fired tear gas into the crowd and shot not lethal rounds, but there was not anything that could be done. The line broke and all the tear gas in the world would not have stopped the militants. We could not entirely engage them for the risk of the melee spreading into the Parliament," expressed an Army officer on that scene that wished to remain anonymous.

The attacks put hundreds into the hospital with immediately at least 20 found dead in front of Parliament. Typical injuries are stab wounds and blunt force trauma. Many of the initial dead suffered injuries from affixation, as they were crushed by the crowd stampeding. A curfew has been declared in Kispest at 1800 and violators may go to prison.

While the chaos of the day is caught on camera, it will be difficult to identify many people due to the tear gas in the air obscuring faces, and often participants covering their face with bandanas or other sorts of masks to keep the tear gas from their lungs.

ONS Secretary Kajetán Andor Bodnár, spoke with reporters after the protests erupted in violence, "We knew that this could happen which is why we advised the military and police to construct barriers which they did. What we did not expect was more gunshots and we believe once again that the killer at large was responsible for these shots. The bullets we took from the woman at these protests shot match the forensic ballistics of the previous bullets. I praise the the Army for getting the woman into hospital, she is now in stable condition, but would not have had a chance to survive if those operating at the front line had not whisked her away from further harm."

Rumors have spread that this woman is also of Zaran background, sparking further outrage in the region. Secretary Bodnár refused to disclose her identity out of respect for her privacy, but seeing how many Zarans have been attracted to the capital to protest the Zaccagni murder, it would not be a surprising development.

Even still, there is a great deal of criticism for the Military and Police not doing enough. Complaints that the area was not swept well enough for a potential shooter after the initial murder, and the failure of creating even more robust barricades are common complaints on Bajoran social media sites. The criticism only grown louder after Prime Minister Csonka suggested on live tv that, "the protestors only reap what they sow. They have protested for 24 days now and it is no surprise that such disobedience was responded to with a fight. We have elections for a reason. 24 days of chaos is unacceptable, I understand you are unhappy. If you do not like me, you may vote me out. This blood is on your own hands though."

Hashtags such as #removeCsonka trended afterwards.

Zaccagni Protests Go Global As Investigation Plot Thickens
• Zoltán Kovács calls Csonka Weak, Urges Renewed Bajoria
• Murder Leads Become More Specific
• Pannonian Embassies On High Alert After Attack

KISPEST — The world appears to be embracing the outrage that began initially with a bus of supposed abortion tourists from Vistarika and have lead to a full blown social protest crisis in Bajoria, accompanied by terrorist actions near and far and most notably the murder of Francesca Zaccagni and attempted murder of Valentina Cantore.

Now famous parliamentarian Zoltán Kovács has declared before large groups of protestors that Zaccagni and Cantore are only attempted martyrs for a Zaran secession plot sponsored by Remion. Declaring that the threats to Bajoria came from the south and women that would prostitute themselves for a quick hedonistic trip. He added that the members of the 24th of May group needed to be shot.

While the protesters have not engaged each other again thanks to diligent police work, the ONS Secretary Kajetán Andor Bodnár in his daily press conference finally disclosed new leads and suspects. "Our department is looking at two major leads, one is at the Business Offices near the Parliament, we have that suspect currently in custody. Another suspect of interest goes by the name of Antonio Battara, he is a male suspect that has curiously had a relationship with both Zaccagni and Cantore. Cantore is currently under day and night police protection at the hospital. Another woman who had a relationship with Cantore is apparently a cold case from two months prior. He is an important suspect at large, and urge any who might know of his whereabouts or that may have had any relationship with him to please report to your local police." The addition of Battara to the case creates a psychotic element to the murder and attempted murder. Authorities must determine if it is simple a coincidence or a deliberate attempt to harm these women.

Prime Minister Csonka has kept quiet on the subject as his approval ratings have plummeted in the chaos and he struggles to hold control in Parliament. Under his leadership Bajororzág's network of embassies now have to maintain high security abroad as political protestors of peaceful and violence design seek to harm or harass Bajorans across the world. On top of this difficulty is the fact that the constant police work, military work, and now increased embassy security are costing the nation millions. This harms Csonka's goal of creating a world class Navy in the next decade.

A further embassy attack now against the Serbovians in Pelasgia highlights the fact that a larger movement that transcends borders may be in action.

Zaccagni Murder Trial Begins Against Battara
• Prosecution makes case linking the murdered women, weapons, and anti-abortion stance
• Defense claims all the evidence is circumstantial

• Protests shift move location to courthouse

KISPEST — The trial of Antonio Battara began full of the drama usually reserved for a Remion Opera House. Instead this episode began at a Courthouse in Kispest. As protestors waved flags and signs at Battara as he entered, shouting slurs at him he returned an ok gesture to the crowds instigating more profanity directed his way. Battara is not without his defenders though, as anti-abortion protestors have wondered if he is not a martyr in the face of massive civil unrest since the beginning of the new year.

The Prosecution opened with the murder case of Francesca Zaccagni and linked her death to another woman, Alessandra Romagnoli who previously dated Mr. Battara in 2013 and mysteriously disappeared after being found dead in a dumpster behind a popular bar in Kispest. Battara was not considered a suspect as her death was in November 2020. The attack on the previously unnamed woman, Valentina Cantore, that was shot twice at the Pro-Choice rally on February 19th is also linked to a relationship with Mr. Battara in 2016. Zaccagni herself was involved in a romantic relationship with Mr. Battara in 2017. All deaths were done with weapons usually reserved for the Pannonian military, although none of the these weapons have been found.

Army has produced a list of weapons that have gone missing, with their serial numbers included to both the prosecution and the defense.

Furthermore the Prosecution displayed his online activity which contained graphic pornography and anti-abortion slurs on online chat forums.

Countering this argument the Defense Team produced a stark contrast with a case of coincidence. The Defense team's head lawyer Mr. Gianluca di Lorenzo is reported to have said, "all of the evidence is circumstantial. You have an examination of Mr. Battara's relationships on full display, but his hedonism is not a crime, nor are his opinions. There is no murder weapon produced by the Prosecution, nor is there a clear motive bring presented. Mr. Battara is in a caring and loving relationship right now."

Indeed, the relationship Mr. Battara currently has with Mariana Caputo has been under the microscope. Ms. Caputo has been hounded by the press over the last week when she could not produce the whereabouts of her boyfriend after the police listed him as a suspect. Mr. Battara voluntarily turned himself in to police in Kispest on Monday of this week. However this occurred five days after he is named a lead suspect. The turnaround time for court to meet is also incredibly quick, with him first meeting a judge and having arguments presented three days later.

Ms. Caputo has provided an alibi for her boyfriend Mr. Battara on both days, claiming that he should have been at her home on both days, but she admits her memory is fuzzy on the date that Francesca Zaccagni was killed. "It was a long time ago," she insists.

The case has also turned into political theatre as Mr. Kovács, who is widely expected to be going after Prime Minister Csonka's position has suggested that Mr. Battara is a good man that stands for his own convictions. "I think we are shaming a man on pure coincidence. The media has fabricated his guilt just because he slept with too many women and thinks an abortion is wrong. I think abortion is wrong, am I the murderer too? This entire cases is just fake news from the left."

Either way, the protests have continued outside of the courthouse in Kispest and will likely continue there from this point forward as national attention has shifted from the law drafted in Parliament to the senseless murder of Francesca Zaccagni.

The Federation is Angered With Bajoran Antics
• Charleroi has continually expressed distain with policies from Kispest
Bremerton-class vessels may have the plug pulled

• Crisis grows from a purely domestic policy one, to a full scale international and defense oriented one

KISPEST — The Federation pumping the brakes on the potential sale of the Bremerton-class Destroyer due to what the Federation has stated as poor political statements and disagreeable public unrest has left policy makers unsure of what to do to improve relations as reining in politicians and fixing the civil unrest seems nearly impossible for the Government. Should the Csonka Government censor Mr. Kovács and return abortion rights in order to obtain one of their most desirable ship selections?

Charleroi has been consistent in its disapproval of the abortion stance taken by the Csonka Government with the well socially-linked Stephanie Prescott of the World Reproductive Rights Foundation (WRRF) rapidly condemning Bajoran policy on social media. As the situation has worsened, so has Charleroi's discontent and that has finally culminated in a very public suspension of the possible sale of the Bremerton-class Destroyer. This destroyer was rumored to be a lead candidate for the Pannonian Navy with hopes that a purchase offer would be made before summer. Charleroi's discontent now having a direct possible consequence to the defense objectives and policies of the Csonka Government, there is worry that there could be consequences for the economy as well as the Federation and Bajorország have strong ties, most recently seen internationally TWA and Balért in the headlines.

Here is the first time that Bajorország appears to have itself in a bind due to this self-created crisis. A crisis that was made entirely due to a very proactive anti-abortion law in the Csonka Government's attempt to placate neighboring Vistarika and conservative elements within Mr. Csonka's own political base. Now Csonka faces a far-right challenger in Zoltán Kovács, dwindling support in Parliament and in the public, with a very public murder trial, and protests still ongoing. With little room to maneuver it is possible that the Federation has finally tightened its grip on Bajorország and may leave Mr. Csonka little choice but to follow the rules set out by Charleroi.

Meetings within the Government are expected to occur throughout the weekend. "We are in full crisis mode," stated a staffer in the Government. "I have never seen so much concern during my entire tenure here, including during the height of the bloodiest day of protests." There is expected to be a full blown response to the Federation but there really are only two choices, upset the Federation and have the best possible ship and defense option taken off the table, or please the Federation and compromise on the political realities in Bajorország.

Apostolikes Kunungasrikases Walhandbátin /// Apostolic Kingdom's Foreign Ministry

On the matter of a certain Far Western federal state insisting upon insinuating themselves in matters, or regions, well beyond their interests, I am increasingly reminded of a particular kind of heavy set, new monied dame that we have all, no doubt, been so unfortunate as to make the acquaintance of. The sort that interrupts conversations in progress to change the topic, out of ignorance of what their betters were on about. I fear that, like this certain sort of piggish dame, this certain interloper will have to be seen on their way, sooner than later.

A Rock and a Hard Place: Government Resigns!
• Abortion Law and Murder Trial were the tinder
Bremerton-class and business relations with the Federation were the spark

• Vistarikan pressure was the final implosion

KISPEST — With what began as an innocent attempt to build a strong platform in which to build a conservative movement behind a pivot to Tiburan Catholic morals and a ban on abortion moved the government attempt to put out too many fires until it could not longer put them all out without deciding to let something else burn down. The Csonka Government decided that it would not be the one to make the decision after all and deliberately sank its own Government in order to save face and not make the difficult choice to choose anything at all. While seemingly cowardly it allows Prime Minister Csonka the ability to maneuver in political decision making for another day.

Ultimately the real crisis began when political pressure was finally applied by the Federation's Government. While the NGO Women's Reproductive Rights Foundation (WRRF) consistently applied pressure on the Csonka Government, this pressure could potentially be ignored without hurting Prime Minister Csonka's political position. As the trials of the Bremerton-class Destroyer became held up, and what was rumored to be Csonka's preferred ship moving forward potentially sunk, Csonka needed to consider the Federation's opinion. The Government also had to consider business relationships with the Federation. What if the Federation applied pressure on Balért? Many Federation firms own assets in Bajorország and Bajorország exports a decent amount of products to the Federation. The public calls for boycott being bad enough, an outright change in tariffs or other economic pressures would upset Bajoran businesses.

Considering this, sources inside the Csonka Government apparently had the mind on Saturday to introduce new laws to weaken the Abortion Laws slightly, and create better safe zones for protestors to be able to voice their opinion more safely without the fear of physical harm or death. Then before they could act the Vistarikan Government applied its own cryptic message in contrast to the Federation's. Now Prime Minister Csonka had to worry about Vistarikan sensibilities in an undetermined way which helped give him the cover to begin his crusade against abortion.

Prime Minister Csonka himself has ties to many of the elite in Vistarika on a personal level from both business and politics. Csonka was reportedly instrumental in bringing Vistarika to Bécs to help begin CSEAC. These sorts of ties have put Csonka is a position where he is loathe to alienate Vistarika, but he also knows that he must abide to the wishes of the Federation or risk other business ties and his military rearmament project.

The solution? His resignation.

Csonka will now return to a regular seat in Parliament while Parliament must figure out if a new coalition can be created or if Bajorország must have elections. Csonka will likely hope to avoid elections because his party is currently suffering in the polls and as a result Csonka has apparently been ok with the idea of providing passive support to a minority Government in order to keep his party away from the threat of losses in a new election. Thus the question begins as to what players can reach a majority or the largest minority in which Csonka can provide his tacit blessing. Csonka has moved from Prime Minister to kingmaker, with both the center-left and the far-right hoping to win.

Party Big Wigs Travel Looking to Secure Support
• Center-left Socialist Party engages big business at home and in Vrijpoort
• Surprise as far-right Forward Pannonia in Vrijpoort as well, Kovács to gauge support in Vistarika

• Finding out which party has the support of big business may sway Csonka's hand

VRIJPOORT — Party maneuvering among big business and key supporters began as with there being no immediate concern for an election, the key supporters are not the people but instead big money. Multiple large hedge funds in Vrijpoort hosted parties for big name politicians in Pannonia to try to make their case for big money but most importantly key support. To be able to name drop that a major hedge fund or CEO is interested in your potential to lead Government in Kispest would undeniably give kingmaker and former Prime Minister János Csonka a reason to support a particular party's bid for government.

Ultimately, there are coalitions available for the center-left Socialist Party led by Kristóf Ferdinánd Bognár and the far-right Forward Pannonia party led by Zoltán Kovács. The real question is which party János Csonka will abstain in voting for and which he will reject. While Csonka himself will be able to decide which coalition will best push forward his own agenda, he can also provide passive support to the side which his own backers support the most. Csonka has support large financial support in Vrijpoort and naturally this is where the Socialist Party went to visit this evening in a series of balls and galas. Mr. Bognár could be found in tuxedo across the many luxury suites in skyscrapers across Vrijpoort. What he perhaps did not expect would be to see Parliamentary colleagues from the opposing Forward Pannonia party trying to gain the same support.

Vrijpoort is an interesting player for support in many political races in Pannonia if only because it has a great deal of capital and financial interests in Pannonia. Vrijpoort is also rumored to be vying for support in CSEAC and the visit parties need to make their positions clear to big business across the border.

What does appear clear is that both parties are open to accepting money to advance the interests of those who hold their wallets open. The public itself often jaded in its opinion of politics universally sees the parties as corrupt in their own way. There are favorites and alliances; however, while ones teammates can change, there is still a team.

János Csonka who may have been angered with Zoltán Kovács critique of the last months, can now also take notice that Mr. Kovács visited big players in Vistarika. Whether or not the far-right populist has support in Vistarika remains to be seen, but if Kovács can gain support in Vistarika and yet still advance policy in favor of right-wing causes he would be the immediate favorite to win Government. Setting up Kovács might also have the advantage of making Csonka's own National People's Party look better than it does now should Kovács continue to come hard against abortion and protesters. There is something to be said that giving Kovács the limelight maybe put him in a position where he never gives it up. There is a risk however that if Csonka gives power to the Socialist Party he may look weak ideologically, even if it could be a strong play to keep business ties with neighbors strong.

Csonka has some time to decide, but inside sources suggest that he wants to make the decision sooner than later. The longer he takes to approve a winner, the more he worries it looks like he's not in a position to lead period. Csonka has high hopes for the next election and it is likely he believes he can win Government again if you plays his cards right.
