Here is a link to the map, and the actual image itself if you want to download it more directly (≈17.5MB). Remember the map is still in beta mode, so there are elements that are open to change, expected to change, and perhaps some mistakes. Keep an eye out for new map rules coming in the near future.

Please give your opinions on new things! I'd like to know what people think in order to improve them! (Also, sorry OTW, I forgot the change you requested, I just noticed it now)

This way I will finally have officially ended the lore building behind the remnants of the former empire and can look towards total global domination of the catholic faith.

This isn't a map application, and I categorically challenge any "surprises" entering the Oceania region. I see a bunch of new incursion islands that are Azilia's color without names and I will just here and now categorically block them.
I do not believe in a handout of islands and colonies based on "I was Spain or France or England mmkay?".

Anyone could have potentially done this, not just the Azilia player, so I am not calling that person out as particularly wicked. But this whole unsubstantiated rush on the map across three or more continents with zero RP and zero presentation is bad news . . . I'm sure other regions will accept it, especially dead ones, but not here in Oceania. . . This is a wholesome region.

We are in beta map, and so I do want to make clear that many elements can just as easily be taken away as they are placed rather arbitrarily. That said, I do not find small islands likely with limited inhabitants as threatening, especially as I find blocks of entire island groups just annexed by one player as equally yawn inducing.

This I think is something I also wanted to address in mapping rules as I mentioned in the prior post (I didn't do them because it was late at night when I posted the map), but I was thinking of adding rules that colony applications do not add to your power unless you've added them through direct RP. That being, map applied colonies do not add to your population, your economy, or your stats in any form. They can open up resources to global trade though. More or less, map applied colonies are a burden, never an asset. They should exist for history and storytelling, not power wanking.

I have more rules I plan on slapping down, but not in this post.

If you are still opposed to their existence, I am more than open to remove them. "Surprise me" can just as easily be un-surprised in my opinion.

Consider me not soothed by above sayings. Every island counts and every person matters in Oceania, so I hold to my block of September Surprise in my region of unnamed and unintentional colonies. I am sure some of the other regions won't care so let them colonize elsewhere!
 
Sorry for the annoyance, but can you correct a small typo of Caserta being written Casterta on the map?
 
Now that I know the surprise, and the objection to part of the surprise (but unsure what all constitutes Oceania), and the theme you had thought up with it.

I'm amicable with the idea of some movements of it. The Islands that are north of Cantignia getting switched to the far northern part of the chain being west of Himyar/Southwest of Saint Lidwina.

The one on the western part of South Occidentia getting switched to the Island just west of the southern tip of South Himyar that kinda stands out by making a curved large channel between it and the main part of Southern Himyar.

I would also like to send Explorers and missionaries into this Land to make it available to all as well as to reach any nations/people that lie there.

After exploring the land I would like to establish new claims on this land west of Vlaams Himyar calling it "Tiwumbia".

I block all unnamed and unsubstantiated colonies between Cantignia and surrounding continents. If you're wondering where Oceania is you're probably in it. If you're starting to name the islands now you're coping with the rebuke of surprise and it's unwelcome.

Call one of them Croco del Taco and maybe we will get somewhere. Go colonize the far east.
 
hi! i hope this map request isn't too complex, i'd like to claim an island on the map between sylvania and the josepanian empire (location is in 2nd spoiler), but have the current island be replaced by the island in the first spoiler, if that works? (please lmk if there needs to be a version without the cities marked) also, if the circled peninsula in the second spoiler could be detached and become and island on its own (moved to the right), that would be great!

The shape reminds me a bit of Oahu. Heh.

Anyhow, I can probably do that all for you, but I ain't gonna do it for free. Your payment will be RP activity. I'll place you on the map as the island looks now, and the moment you get to roughly 50 posts (that aren't spam), I'll gladly make the changes you request.

Map update request! Internal borders with names, regional capital locations and names, and some landmarks to boot. I tried to emulate Sylvania's font style for his respective details.

UPDATE: I've included a mapspot adjustment on the image above to be added to the "NATAL" region, and would like to make an additional request to, instead of using "NATAL" as one of the region names, use "SANTANDER" instead. All other name requests and internal borders remain the same.

For some names to help with the identification of thy overseas territory.

1. Antiguo, The one next to New Norden (Konderland)
2. Guahan, that far far easterly island thats all by its lonesome out there.

Still working on a name for a few of the others, haven't gotten there quite yet. And just for the reminder after I had realized my goof and talked and figured it out, since my ass was directionally challenged in trying to hurry for your quick update that last go around, I had meant the easterly Island that just on the opposite side of the one you had given so you can just make that flip whenever you do next update. (a picture included this time so I don't give some foolish description)

Officially editing now after discussions with Cantignia to reflect the full realization of the idea we had originally discussed but held off on part of it to find out if it would be challenged and it seems it is acceptable to him.
