Hi all, I decide to create a thread where we can all talk about the new issues system on NS where you get 4 issues again with immediate impact.

I will start it off:

I like the new update mainly because it changes NS from a game where you just log on every 12 hours complete the issues and then leave it for another 12 hours etc. it makes it more fun and gives you more to do however I would recommend in settings changing it so you have to approve before clicking accept so that you don't accidentally become a corporate dictatorship by accident.

I have to say that I rather like it. While I'm not much of an issues person any more (the World Assembly and gameplay are taking up much more of my time), it is good to see updates to vital centres like Issues and the World Census.

On that subject, I would still like to see the proposed changes in the Admin To-do list effected as soon as possible so we can start effectively coordinating and leaving records of Europe's governmental activities.

Although I'm quite fond of the comical way issues are presented, I do feel that a large portions of the issues provide you with choices that seem to exclude some of the most obvious government actions. Quite often, when going through the issues, I can hear myself thinking: I don't agree with any of these options. This is unfortunate, since I end up dismissing the issue, which means forfeiting an interaction. The improved scoring system is nice, but even those have obvious holes in them, where you ask: why would this choice have any impact whatsoever on this metric? These days I just resort to checking NS Index for the impact a decision will have.

NS index isn't perfect, because stat effects vary by country. The exact same issue choice might increase the economy in one country and reduce it in another.

Finally brought my Civil Rights to "Very Good" from "Some". AND my Political Freedoms from "Some" back to "Average". I didn't wanna become a dictatorship but I'm getting pretty sick of "Inoffensive Centrist Democracy".......
