The Imperial Navy enforcing the quarantine of Ebria in an effort to further contain the conflict and limit foreign involvement in the civil crisis, that already has two foreign military forces fighting on Ebrian soil, has intercepted and detained a Tianese cargo ship carrying arms and munitions into the conflict zone in contravention of the naval quarantine. The vessel was alerted multiple times to allow itself to be boarded or divert to another port for unloading or inspections of its cargo. After repeated attempts, naval commandos from the detachment boarded the vessel by air and commenced operations to enforce compliance.

In the process of searching the vessel, the members of the commando team opened several containers containing weapons and large quantities of munitions. The quarantine is in place to attempt and stabilize the situation and defuse the conflict in Ebria before it further escalates as more foreign forces are thrown into the conflict, or further atrocities are committed by either side. Compliance with the quarantine is asked, for humanitarian aid will not be withheld by the Empire from the Ebrian people, as Konstantin has not forgotten how the Ebrian people had treated his own cause.

The vessel that has been seized and impounded by the Imperial navy will have its remaining cargo searched and the contraband of armaments seized. All aid of other sorts will be permitted to either continue after inspection to the ports in Ebria aboard the vessel or re-loaded onto another vessel to still be transported to the Ebrian people. The crew upon arrival in port will transited by rail into neighboring Vrijpoort or Rheinbund where they may return home, we are not in the business of detaining the civilian crews following instruction from their company at home, and returning them home with urgency is the best solution for them.

Honourable Minister,

The Pelasgian Empire has received direct communications from the @Hanseatic Republics directly confirming the country's being defended by nuclear weapons and its first-strike policy if attacked. Pelasgia has also been approached by various international powers de facto allied or sympathetic to @Radilo about the possibility of talks to end the Special Military Operation.

With this in mind, we advise our trusted Tarusan allied to not directly attack the Hanseatics, for fear of nuclear war. In the meantime, we will attend these so-called "talks," to see if we can reach some kind of understanding or, at the very least, buy time. As you well know, our own strategic forces are in place, and should the Hanseatics attack an ally with weapons of mass destruction, we will not hesittate to reliate.

Instead of attacking the Hanseatics, we ask that Tarusa move its naval forces in position so as to be better placed to intercept a Federation naval intervention in the Meridian, which seems almost inevitable.

We thank our Pelasgian allies for the warning of the threats of nuclear destruction being utilized to attempt and further bully their position as they have realized even before the onset of negotiations for an attempted ending of the conflict that they have no tenable capability to successfully dislodge the superior Pelasgian forces especially with the backing of the Pressburg Pact.

Our Meridian Naval assets have been spread since the beginning of the conflict to ensure operational integrity would be maintained. Should we be called to act, the swift hand of righteousness will further turn the meridian sea into their graveyard.
