Hello guys I would like to create an NFL of sorts for the upcoming real life season. I imagine that @Nanuka @Josepania @Natal and perhaps even @oranister could be involved depending on how wide spread we want Sylvanian Football to be, but not much further than that otherwise real life logistics would be an issue. I'll be needing 32 teams and i will do it every weekend for the duration of the real life season ending in a playoff and a Europe Bowl (name to be decided)

I plan on having at least 8 teams but can take more if need be if there isn't enough interest, but not less realistically.

I will score everything using xkoranate. Let me know what you think.
 
I dig it. I imagine it's probably big in Natal, as I'll probably simplify Canada's sport culture and instead of having a special version of it, I'll just have the Sylvanian rules version be the main thing and most popular sport, probably together with hockey.​
 
I'm down as well. Because of geographic proximity and friendly rivalry with Sylvania, it makes sense for the sport to be prevalent in Josepania.

I can guarantee at least 9 teams from:
  • Ciudad de San Jose
  • Palmira
  • San Carlos
  • Los Santos
  • Las Venturas
  • Santa Fe de la Sierra
  • Puerto del Rey
  • Cartagena de Vesperia
I can also submit three additional teams: San Fierro, San Diego del Oeste, and San Diego del Este, if needed.
 
Same with Ice Hockey, I think it makes total sense for Nanuka to play in the Sylvanian league. I’d wager Nanuka can field at least two teams, one from Harper’s Landing and another from Colter
 
I can bring about 5, and I'll let you take as many as you need. I imagine the most teams would be from Sylvania, followed by Josepania, then Natal and finally Nanuka.

I imagine Sylvania could bring 15 teams, Josepania 10, Natal 5 and Nanuka 2, bringing us to a total of 32 and be vaguely proportional to how big the nations are.

The Natalian Teams would be:
  • Camp Hill Redblacks;
  • Rocheblanche Alouettes;
  • Harton Sounders;
  • Redmond Elks;
  • Blackmere Stampeders;

I will likely submit some if I can figure out a good host city for them. Only two cities I have figured out, CarrickAodh and Lumina, don't feel like they would be good cities to host a football team, though its possible.

I also figured if anything we would just call it occidental football or whatever.

Give them a name, we can Roleplay it as a successful expansion to the old world if you want to do it that way.

All others who have not named your teams give me the names so I can start putting everything together.

If we do that I will likely add another team for Caladag/Warre as a whole in the old world. Let's go with the Warre Fortress or the Warre Mariners or the Warre Whalers.

It would be something like the Lions, given the theme. Their colors would be gold and red.
 
Please consider including Cantignia as an exhibition or away week neutral venue. This country was a big sports organizer and has the venues.

If I can participate with Cantignia I'd like to base them on tight confines arena teams. 1-3 small market teams from Cantignia that share the arena with indoor soccer, hockey, and basketball.
