So we have a Papal States and the lingering remnants of Crusader institutions... so what about a Holy Land? Where is Hierosolyma (Nation States Jerusalem)? What is her history? Is there a modern Zionist movement/state?

I just want to get the ball rolling, but if no one else is interested I can set up a little Zionist state and give it a crusader/colonial back story. For those who don't recall, in the near modern rp, I was the colonial daddy (via an old Crusader state) for an npc Isphilistine (Nation States Israel/Palestine).

For location, I would say anywhere south of the @Helian League would make the most geographic sense. I don't object to a small NPC or simply a location of historical significant, no thoughts either way on that

Akin to Spain/Portugal, the Azilians themselves played a minor role in any Crusading. We were pre-occupied fighting for ourselves against the encroachment of the islamic world.

We could have the Knights of St. Joseph run the place, nominally at least. Like, there is a local government that's democratically elected, but with the Grandmaster as Head of State. The Knights can be headquartered in Valletta, but actually have sovereignty over the Holy Land. Which I imagine is now plurality Jewish. But it's more similar to a LON/UN mandate, with mostly local control.

I'm sure Radilo likes to poke it's head in frequently.

I imagine many secular Jews may be disappointed by this version of Zionism. In the past rp, I made a post about this. With Radilo's first Jewish Prime Minister basically calling them backwards. In my defense, it was meant to reflect 19th century bigotry.

The secular nationalists may not be “best friends” with ultra-Orthodox mystics, but at the end of the day both are Jews, and that creates a bond. So if Judaism, then both streams.
