Kyiv may I use this list? It is easier for me and the people to know about my armed forces:

Of course some things over there may still exist, but not in use!!!! Specially the tanks! xD

Just a note, for newcomers as well as anyone else: I imagine it's fine if people come up with elaborate orders of battle & equipment lists for flavor / RP purposes (and should be encouraged), but I think a lot of these things are going to be meaningless when it comes to an actual IC war. Of course, all of this is up to the discretion of the warmod, but there are so many more important factors than "what model sidearm I equip my 9th Signals Battalion with", that we don't consider in most war RP. I think people shouldn't have any illusions when it comes to how the tiny details of their armies affect the outcome of battles in our RP.

You are right in must points. In fact, by my side, i think this more in decorative items rather then practical items. It is a kind of "ethnic element", for example the Zulus had a typical shield, the Vikings the horned helmet, the romans rectangular shields... It is a way to gave color to the story line. I wont to do tecnological RP, the evolutions of the 50ties, evolution doesn't come by miracle, it has got to have a past!
For exemple it is being important in my RP of the riots in the province of Beira Alta, since the major forces involved, the Partisans and the National Guard, are irregular armed forces. It is more fun to go to war with a decay Renault FT 17 rather then a modern an powerful M48 Patton! It is just... not so real, the Renault FT17 is a relic by 1954, but it was in use by poorer forces who didn't have capital to get new weapons!

It is fun for example, Ivernia during an expedition in to Himyar finds a tribe that attacks their expeditionary force with Lebel Rifles! The Ivernian know already "Damn, those portusgalian crooks are selling weapons to this guys!", it is an element of the history that gives color to it.

I use more this list to display the stagnation that Portusgália lives... If you go there Mergogne and see, the must recent weapon dates from mid 30ties! Since then... No evolution on the Portusgalian Army, means no investiment, means stagned budject since then!

Thanks to the game, i recently i discovered that France had an semi-auto rifle in WW1!!! I tought that they only have appeared on late 30ties by the hand of a crazy soviet inventor or something! But the oldest one is a Fedorov form 1915! And the french one is from 1917! Fantastic, never tought of!

My main tank is the British Centurion but some of my forces also use the American M47 Patton. I also have other tanks for special roles.

Help. I use the Centurion as well (although I call it the Löwe). How are we going to handle this? I have to say that I already chose that tank in August last year, but if the mods are OK with it, I don't mind if both Valkany and I use the Centurion. Book printing was also invented independently by two people at the same moment, so why not a Centurion-like tank both by the Valkanians and by the (at that time still) Wiesers+Eiffellandians+Franconians? The only thing I doubt about, is which tank I will take as successor to the Löwe: The Leopard I or a French equivalent. But that is a decision I will have to take in a couple of years. And for that French equivalent, my military aircraft industry is in fact already a Germanification of Dassault, so why not Germanify the French tanks?

@ , you can also buy some second hand Panthers from me, if needed.

For all intents and purposes, I'd say you are using two different designs with the same specifications/capabilities.

My panthers are very well maintained. They don't break down. Furthermore, they are a Germanic product, designed for lifetime use ;) But of course you get a lot of spare parts.

We don't have nukes - we're playing as though they were never developed. Makes sense as Europe never had a war on the same scale or of the same intensity as WW2. Additionally, the game is set fifty years in the past - in the 1950s.

We try to combat techwanking in terms of military stuff. Basically, if you have massive military power it should be justified via RP over time. In addition, we expect a somewhat appropriate use of discretion. In other words, do your research on 1950's military technology. Most nations should still have prop-driven aircraft in their inventories. Even the most advanced nations in the 1950's still had equipment from the 1940's in their active inventories. For instance the F4U Corsair was being used well into the 1950's by the US, UK Commonwealth, and France.
