Due to the outbreak of internal hostilities in the country of Ostmark, the Foreign Ministry advises all Serbovian citizens in that country to make immediate arrangements to exit Ostmark territory for their own safety. Orders have been issued to the Serbovian embassy in Wien to evacuate non-essential diplomatic personnel. At this time it is our intent to guarantee essential aid services given to Serbovian citizens still residing in Ostmark.

The Federal State of Serbovia recognizes the transition of power in Ostmark and hopes that order and stability can now be restored to the country. Activities of the Serbovian embassy in Wien will be resumed as normal, though we still advise Serbovian citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the country due to the continuing internal instability which might still be resulting in unrest.

The recent escalation of political unrest in Bajororzsag is most concerning. The Serbovian government continues to condemn the rioting taking place in our neighboring state and we express our support for the legitimate Kovacs government of Bajororzsag in their campaign to restore the rule of law and order into their country.

It is obvious that the original protest movement behind the unrest has now been hijacked by separatist and extremist elements seeking to sow further ethnic discord into the heart of Bajororzsag. This turn of events is most alarming.

Additionally, the Serbovian government continues to monitor the situation, especially concerning the status of ethnic Serboves residing in Bajororzsag. Rumors of Zaran extremists specifically targeting ethnic Serbovic communities in Eastern Zara must be investigated thoroughly and those responsible prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Furthermore, we express our concern over the recent movement of military troops by the country of Remion to the Remion-Bajororzsag border. While Remion has every right to protect the integrity of its border and to take steps to ensure territorial safety, we note that there is evidence that this deployment includes heavy military hardware such as main battle tanks. Such equipment seems to be excessive if the purpose of the deployment is only border protection and support to civil law enforcement.

The best course of action for neighboring states would be to allow the government of Bajororzsag to execute its duty to restore law and order into the country, as it is has done so far.

Mr. Aleksandar Plesic,

Foreign Minister

@Remion
@Bajorország
