Capital of the Kingdom of Nitra

First set up in 1882, when the cabinet led by Prime Minister Matej Mäsiar, under the auspices of his majesty King Karel III, has started a process of modernising the Nitran economy by industrialising and attracting foreign investors, the Chamber of Commerce had the role of aiding trade between Nitran companies and foreign economical actors.

The Chamber of Commerce of Varna has thus evolved to become the main place through which business and trade is conducted between the Nitran companies and foreign businesses and investors. While many still organise directly, the Chamber of Commerce has the role of bringing together and aiding the said businesses in building bridges to foreign companies and to foster foreign trade.
