ORTHODOX CATHOLIC CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST
ECUMENICAL PATRIARCHATE OF PROPONTIS

Public Statement | July IX, AM (V)MMDXXIX

To whom it may concern,

The Ecumenical Throne of the Great Church of Christ in Propontis,
Having considered the Patriarchal Decree of January 3rd, 1909, which characterises Communism as a form of Anti-Christian Infidelity, and the Decrees of September 24th, 1956 and June 5th, 2020, which equally denounce and prohibit Communism for all God-Fearing Christians;

And having considered the excommunication of Baron Thesyvoulos Platanias by the Metropolitan of Iolcus during the former's premiership and due to the former's rapprochement with Communism, which was confirmed by the Ecclesiastical Court of July 6th, 2020;

And having further considered the rapprochement of the Grand Duchy of @Furlanìe with the Atheist, Communistic Power of Kadikistan, which has recently prosecuted Orthodox Christians, banned Christianity, and burned down Churches using mobs of militant Atheists;

Does hereby issue an

ANATHEMA

Against the Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy, Cosàn Bernars; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Umbert de Roncalt; the Minister of Economy and Finance, Ervin Parcjelîr; and the Minister of Defence, Michelìn Artûrs. This anathema cuts out these sinners from the body of the Church and damns them to Hell, until such a time until they repent, change their ways, and openly show willingness to return to the Christian Flock.

The sins of these individuals are many, and ultimately consist of ill-advising the Grand Duke of their country to deny Christiendom in favour of Communism, a policy whose most vile and recent iteration is the Treaty of Spesse. Let these men remember the words of our Saviour, who said unto his disciples that "[...] whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:33). One cannot be Christian in life and un-Christian (let alone Anti-Christian) in public duty and policy; one must always be Christian, regardless of the consequences on this earth, to earn passage into the Kingdom of Heaven. That is the message of our Lord's Sacrifice on the Cross.

The Archbishop of Furlanìe, as the Head of an Autocephalous Church, is WARNED that if he does not actively pursue the redirection of the policy of the Grand Duchy and does not support the prosecuted Christians of Kadikistan, he too shall suffer ANATHEMA.

Signed and sealed,

Nektarios Christophilopoulos
Logothete of the Drome
