Other Pelasgian Heavy Industries
The Pelasgian Merchant Marine, Europe's largest, is the example par excellence of a Pelasgian heavy industry. Almost all major corporate conglomerates and businessmen in Pelasgia have a hand in the shipping business, with Pelasgian shipping accounting for up to 25% of the global total. Industries related to this field, such as insurance, shipbuilding, law, and transport are all largely developed in Pelasgia as a result, while shipping enjoys a virtual tax exemption. Major shipping firms include: Poseidon Shipping S.A., Navlos Maritime Holdings S.A., Theta Tankers Co. S.A., Artemis Shipping S.A., Propontis-Optimatoi International Maritime S.A., Archipelago Shipping Corporation S.A., Leontian Dry Carriage S.A., Meridian-Basilisk Liquid Carriage Co. S.A., and Transcontinental Shipping S.A.

The petroleum and natural gas industry, typically dominated by Pelasgian Petroleum S.A. and the Pelasgian Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. (PELEX), is a major Pelasgian heavy industry, owing to Pelasgia's considerable maritime and terrestrial deposits of petroleum and other fossil fuels. These companies are joint ventures by multiple Pelasgian conglomerates (primarily Koumantaros, Phrangos, and Metaxas), though some Pelasgian conglomerates also operate their own petroleum entreprises for both extraction and refineries (notably, Pegasos operates Pegosos Petroleum Co., Ltd.). Pelasgia both extracts and refines petroleum, as well as natural gas and various petroleum derivatives (e.g., plastics, gas).

The steel and aluminium industries are also major industries. Pelasgia produces large amounts of both metals due to natural reserves, and is considered a world leader in alumium. Major industries in this field include Pegasos Steel Industry S.A., Herakles Steel Co. (Koumantaros Group), Antiperama Aluminium S.A. (Metaxas & Phrangos). The mining and resource extraction industries (ranging from gold and precious ores to lumber) are also developped, with major companies including Koressios Resource Holdings S.A. (Koressios), Hephaestus Mining S.A. (Phrangos & Metaxas), and National Mining Co. of Pelasgia, Ltd.

The chemical industry in Pelasgia has a long history that is closely linked to the development of the country's automotive and defence industries. Pelasgian companies notably produce car liquids and tires, as well as many agricultural fertilizers and domestic-use chemicals (detergents, cleaning agents, etc.). Cement is also produced, forming the backbone of the Pelasgian construction industry. This industry is typically separated from the oil industry due to the latter's size. Major companies in this sector include Prometheus S.A. (general purpose chemicals and cement - also oil refining and plastics, machine tool building), Dalos Chemicals S.A. and Arkas Chemicals and Plastics S.A.

The electronics industry of Pelasgia is highly developped and was one of the drivers of post-war economic growth. Pelasgian electronics companies produce computers, telephones, processors, adapters, communications devices, and other related products and technologies. Pelasgian electronics is generally valued for its reliability and low cost, though its level of advancement varies by sector (for instance, Pelasgian telephones and personal computers are generally average, but Pelasgian robotics and software is advanced). Electronic appliances, such as dishwashers, fridges and laundry machines, are also made by most electronics firms. Major companies in this sector include Kydoniotis Electronics S.A. (Kydoniotis - software, robotics, hardware computers & phones), General Electronic Corporation of Pelasgia S.A. (Koumantaros - household appliances, robotics), National Electronic Company S.A. (Phrangos & Metaxas - computing, telecommunications equipment), and Pegasos Electronics Company S.A. (Pegasos - electronics and electrical equipment, incl. elevators and escalators, high-end home appliances, factory automation systems, train systems, semiconductors, digital signage, and satellites).

Other heavy industries: Atlas Construction S.A. (Koressios); Vasileiadis Locomotive Corp. S.A. (Adamidis-Aetos); National Electricity Company (aka. EOE - majority public owned).
