REMURIAN COMMONWEALTH

TOP SECRET

To the Madurjan Republic the Res Publica Rumurorum Nationis sends her sisterly greetings.

Your Excellency,

It is in neighbourly spirit that we reach out to our friends in Madurja to inquire on your views on the current developments in Gallia and of any concerns Madurja might have in the events surrounding the Grau-Ivar Understanding and the apparently growth in hostilities between Furlanie and the Organisation of Democratic States, all of which border on the Mare Retalium and Mare Longum and, thus, have a direct impact on both our countries.

The Remurian Commonwealth views the growing hostilities with much concern, bordering both on the Organisation of Democratic States and on the Grand Duchy of Furlanie in one way or the other. So we monitor and adapt or activites accordingly to preserve the best interests of peace and prosperity.

Always in a spirit of maintaining productive and cordial relations with her friends and neighbours, the Remurian Commonwealth reassures Madurja that we move responsibly on the international stage in respect of the concerns our friends might have.

The current developments are deeply concerning to the Unified Republic. We are closely following the developments and are taking appropriate security measures. As custodians to the entrance of a great sea, we will ensure that free passage of shipping and other civilian vessels remains constant. We have no interest to become embroiled in any conflict. However, the Unified Republic stands prepared to defend herself.

As a nation that values the concept of neutrality and diplomatic answers, we fervently hope a solution will be reached that does not bring all-out war to Gallia.

J. Teixeira,
Consul
