(CHARLEROI, Federal District) the Federation Aviation Department issued an urgent warning for national and international airlines to keep clear of the sudden exclusion zone around the Cadiz District of the Justosia. FAD Director Joseph Benjamin has informed the Tribune Review that there were delays to eastbound flights to several nations, one flight from Tiroe City to Hanskegrad had to divert after the extra mileage caused by the sudden closure of airspace and a weather event causing further delay in Hanskegrad meant that they did not have enough fuel to safely complete the flight. Director Benjamin has said that the diversion around this closed airspace will continue because the Justosians have failed to inform the international community of the nature and dimensions of the closure which now affect several well traveled flight corridors to the east. President Jeppesen issued a statement expressing his dismay that the Justosians made this sudden closure that is, after a statement released via Noticias Nacional, not a national security event.

(CUNILL) The Lomarian brothers have had their first appearance in court in the city of Sesena. The charges officially leveled against them are espionage and violation of border management. As foreign nationals charged with espionage they are not eligible for the death penalty as citizens of the republic are under similar circumstances, but if they are convicted of both charges they could spend up to 25 years in prison. The governments claim is the fishing vessel not only violated the waters of the republic, but was carrying out espionage on behalf of Lomarian intelligence agencies as they were found within the vicinity of underwater fiber optics cables with scuba gear using the fishing vessel as a cover story in the event they were caught by azilian law enforcement.

(Chiste) Eighteen men have been arrested in an operation by the Carabinieri this weekend in Chiste, capital of the Duchy of Noria. They are members of the feared Morelli clan of the Campanian Mafia, and have been caught in the act by the Carabinieri just as they were meeting with representatives of the foreign underworld. It is believed that the Mafia is moving to the more lucrative trade of drug trafficking, over human trafficking, racketeering and money laundering and were building a network of support with other ciminal groups. Out of the 18, two are Jospanians, one is Lomaran, one Azilian and one Justosian, the rest are Campanian.

(Gantelhavn, Groenmark) The Minister for Interior Affairs Benjamin van der Maat announced at today's press conference that "the Government will strengthen controls and garrisons at the southern border with Saeffeland". After the last few days of unrest in the newly founded republic, and because of the tense political situation and ethnic tensions, the Government fears that criminal organisations may take advantage of the situation, posing a risk to national security. "Today we do not detect any specific risks or groups ready to act," the Minister said "but in unstable situations the risk of deterioration is high and the Government is determined to ensure the security of the Kingdom by preventing a potentially dangerous situation". New police units and border guards will be deployed, checks at the frontier will be strengthened, and the Minister also stated that new technologies will be tested.

(CHARLEROI, Federal District) Federation One, the presidential aircraft, declared an airborne emergency and diverted back to Charleroi after President Jeppesen told his staff he was having chest pains. The eighty one year old was quickly whisked to Charleroi University hospital via helicopter where he is now undergoing tests. With Sylvania's election season coming up many members of the Liberal Republican Party are worried Jeppesen will not be able to run. Jeppesen has been adamant that he will run again in the face of the rising popularity of Senator Duke Easton of the Sylvania First Party. Political parties will be enrolling their candidates on September 1st, where Sylvania's very short and intense election season will commence.

(SAN JOSÉ, Josepania) A spokesman for the Office of the Emperor of the Josepaños disclosed that El Emperador initiated discussions with the Office of the President of the Congress to work out an extensive, ambitious economic plan to be completed by the end of the decade. It is highly unusual for any Josepaño Emperor to take a direct role in any policy or legislation, especially in the crafting of one that is rumored to be "unprecedented in its scope," as the spokesman mentioned to reporters of the San José Times. When asked about the specifics of the plan, all that was divulged was that a cornerstone was "affordable housing."

CADIZ: Justosian history has just been shattered. His Royal Archipiélagic Majestad King Carlos Francisco III is currently in the middle of a mob of about 300 of his subjects. This is a scene of utter jubilation. The cheering is being reported as deafening in center city Cadiz. Roughly an hour ago, an incognito king made his way into the center city cuadrado. Recently renamed el Annabella I Cuadrado. According to eye witnesses from our Cadiz Center City affiliate news network, Carlos then removed his sun glasses & hoodie & began randomly walking up to & greeting the closest citizens.

Once everyone close by realized who he was, pandemonium began. Even in this ruby red city & district, he was mobbed by supporters & like fans. At this point he ordered all his proximal Royal Guardia to stand down & back away from him. This is the first time in Justosian history a reigning monarch has gone into public, to their people without guard. Developing...

(CHARLEROI, Federal District) The presidential election season is upon us and already things are heating up. President Jeppesen has already spent the first few days of his campaign touring Josepania after securing a bilateral trade and visa free travel deal. Presidential candidate and member of the senate Duke Easton was quick to criticize the deal. More interestingingly Duke Easton and his supporters held a rally outside Charleroi's only catholic church, at the protest he could be heard questioning if Tiburan catholics could really be loyal to Sylvania. He also made thinly veiled remarks alluding to the trustworthiness of Sylvanians of Tiburan ethnic backgrounds and could be quoted saying "these hyphenated Sylvanians are no Sylvanians at all." We reached out to the Sylvania First League, the party Easton is affiliated with for comment and they did not return our calls.

(Dún Eidynn) The Royal Tribunal has announced that it acquitted Oisean MacShuibhne, ex-Toiseach of Caledonia, who was accused of corruption during the years of his tenure as head of government. The announcement is a complete surprise, after for so many months during the trials, many were expecting a condemnation. In the aftermath of the announcement, Oisean MacShuibhne has exited the building of the Tribunal as a free man, announcing that he will sue Toiseach Lucas Loganach for leading what he called a "which hunt" against him. In this evening, people are already organising to protest against the corruption within the justice system, which many believe Oisean MacShuibhne has used to go free.
