(Dun Eidyn, Caledonia) A celebration took place in the streets of Dun Eidyn today, marking 1,200 years to the day when the first High King of Caledonia was coronated. The mood of those gathered was one of joy and festivities as well as relief, as no celebration had taken place due to the Caledonian Civil War brought about by the Covenanter regime, a time looked back on with shame and regret nowadays. Caledonians interviewed by An Caledonianach reporters near uniformly agreed that, while Prime Minister Lucas Loganach and the Clans in general were unquestionably corrupt, as one Caledonian put it, "it was a grave mistake to think that Theocratic Republicans were going to be any better. I look back on the High Kingdom with nostalgia, and want that level of peace and stability again."

(Dun Eidyn, Caledonia) A survey conducted by An Caledonianach has indicated that a supermajority of Caledonians would prefer a constitutional monarchy over a republic if the institutional referendum were to be held today. From samples collected in the Southlands, Midlands, and Northlands, 66% of those surveyed said they would choose a constitutional monarchy from a hypothetical referendum, whereas 12% would choose a republic, while 21% remained undecided. Support for a constitutional monarchy was found to be the strongest in the Southlands which is also the most populous third of Caledonia, while the Midlands has shown it is somewhat more interested in becoming a republic, and the Northlands, which is also the most sparsely populated, was the most uncertain.

(Dun Eidyn, Caledonia) The Knights of San José, the humanitarian arm of the Imperio Apostólico Josepaño, participated in a ceremony in Dun Eidyn conveying the thanks of many Caledonians for their efforts that have gone on for almost one full year. Josepaño forces landed in Dun Eidyn to receive the surrender of General Marcas MacMhaoirn of the Covenanters, and the Knights immediately set to work with their humanitarian aid throughout the Southlands primarily, though as the year 2025 progressed their influence was felt in the Hanseatic-controlled Midlands as well. Across Caledonia, along with providing both medical and material assistance up to and including providing mental health therapy, the Knights have answered many questions about constitutional monarchy, especially that practiced in Josepania, and extolled how it balances both representative and responsive democracy along with stable and traditional power in the Head of State, which has proven appealing to a society ravaged by chaos and rebellion and war.

The Ministry of the Interior confirmed today that an Azilian border checkpoint along the Matambaland frontier was recently the target of a coordinated terrorist assault. The incident occurred overnight at a forward guard post near the village of Las Cruces, where a group of refugees approached the crossing seeking entry into Azilian administered Antiguo. Reports from guard's state that three individuals among them were dressed unusually heavy for the climate drawing suspicion.

When one of the guards demanded identification, a concealed explosive device was detonated killing the officer instantly. Two accomplices then revealed automatic weapons hidden beneath their cloaks and opened fire indiscriminately mowing down both guards and refugees in the immediate vicinity. The Interior Ministry has described the assault as “a cowardly and premeditated act designed to destabilize the frontier.”

(Caledonia/Justosia) Federation Peace Corps volunteers hold democracy workshops as Peace Corps programs expand from aid to educational material focusing on teaching citizens of war torn Justosia and Caledonia on how to build a functional democracy from the ground up. Classes take examples from successful democracies across the globe from Westermen democracies such as the Federation and Nanuka, the multi racial Kougi Republics of Himyar, Ostmark born from strife and struggle and the individual republics of Petits-Pays and Yorck. Portions of the class warn of the dangers of apathy when it comes to political participation, the rise of charming and charismatic strongmen or placing too much power in the hands of one man. Attendance was high as Caledonians are eager to reconstruct their government and regain their independence after years of war.

(Caledonia) Amid the quiet hum of reconstruction in Caledonia’s shattered towns, the white armbands of the Azilian Catholic Mission for Peace have become a familiar sight. From repairing schoolhouses to distributing food and its medical clinics in tents and ruined buildings. The mission’s work extends beyond charity, it embodies a quiet call for civic renewal rooted in the shared dignity of all believers.

Each week, volunteers and clergy gather the faithful in open air sermons beside the scaffolds and aid tents. In one such gathering, Father Esteban Meralles of the Azilian delegation spoke on the unity of the people, quoting the Acts of the Apostles: “Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose men from among them…”

“From the beginning,” he told the assembled crowd, “the Church has believed in the voice of the many in the wisdom that rises from the people themselves. We rebuild not only walls, but the foundations of a just and participatory nation.” In partnership with local councils and the Sylvanian Peace Corps, the mission helps organize neighborhood committees to coordinate reconstruction efforts. These gatherings have become places where ideals of cooperation, accountability, and shared responsibility are quietly nurtured.

The mission’s workers see this as an extension of their faith, a rebuilding of a nation not under kings, but under conscience.

(LE VIEUX-BOURG) Government talks with Nikola Cars, Z, and Space Z owner Egon Boss have failed on the issue of demanding the allowance of unions at the Nikola Car factories. The two parties have looked to cooperate after the fracture of the Hanseatic States, as Boss now speculates if he wants to move his headquarters which are currently in Saxe-Franken. While Boss' refusal will likely keep car operations in the German majority side of the dissolution of the Union, Space Z currently operates in Petits-Pays, and Boss likely does not want to spend the billions required to move the unique operations that take place there. The Picard Government has not demanded unions be allowed in these facilities.

(CUNILL) An ever rising number of crisis in the Republics region between the multiple conflicts in the Gaelic Isle, bush war against terrorism in Matambaland, and the dissolution of the Hanseatic League and the disputes potential to arise from its collapse. This has been labeled as the era of uncertainty by the Ministry of Defense. The Defense ministry has announced that it has greenlit the initial production run of the EF-5 Buitre with the goal of fielding 180 of the domestically produced air superiority aircraft. The aircraft has been consistently undergoing trials at facilities in Antiguo where it has had a few mishaps that resulted in the loss of one of the test airframes, but the project has over-all been a success with the platform being designed around utilizing existing EF-4 Tifon engines that have undergone development for greater thrust.

The EF-5 will compliment the existing EF-4 fleet by being an exclusive air dominance aircraft where its predecessor is a multi-role aircraft. A MoD spokesperson was quoted as stating, "Taking lessons from the Gaelic conflict and our position in the world, we need an aircraft that can carry the payload of multiples and deliver a punishment in the sky as its directed by our small fleet of Yuan manufactured EF-6s. The conflict has started a massive pipeline of revisions in our doctrines going forward"

(Dun Eidyn, Caledonia) The referendum to decide on the system of government a post-occupation Caledonia has officially concluded, with the choice of Constitutional Monarchy as the system of government post-occupation winning with 64% of the vote, while 36% of voters chose a Republic. Turnout was especially impressive, with both occupational and local authorities reporting that 80% of the voting population casted their ballots in the referendum, further solidifying its legitimacy. The next step will be for a Caledonian Constitutional Commission to be created and work closely with the recently created Caledonian Constitutional Expert Commission in drafting a new constitution that follows the parameters of the referendum, and once it is approved by the Expert Commission, it too will be put to a vote via referendum in Caledonia.

(CUNILL) The Cortes has passed a resolution this afternoon 233-182 calling on the Caudillo to carry out the use of force across the Antiguo border region against terror cells that have been responsible for the destabilization in Matambaland. The language of the resolution is aimed at showing the legislature and the people support the use of air strikes and limited intervention to secure the frontier in an area where the government has so far stated it has no intentions of involvement. While it is expected unlikely the Caudillo will act on the show of support showing his unwillingness to draw the nation into another conflict.
