Cantignia will soon break off and negotiate with each of your nations individually to discuss the potential for mutual defense agreements to protect from re-colonization from the Old World. First though we wish to invite your robust navies and coast guard units, as they can be made safely available, to a naval wargame north of Cantignia scheduled for this June: Operation Determined Mariner.

Given competing invitations to attend Easter services from within the Yukon, which offered welcoming offers from Episcopal and Catholic faiths, as well as a warmly regarded opportunity from Nanukan Christians: Prophetess Juniper Althoff has settled on the following liturgical experience during Holy Week (April 13-19, 2025):

The morning of Palm Sunday will be spent with the Tiburan Catholic Archdiocese of Hull, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Hull. In the afternoon Mrs. Althoff will visit with Celestial Christians from the Yukon with the intent of spending that evening with Celestial Missionaries from Cantignia.

On Holy Monday Mrs. Althoff will meet with the Established Episcopal Church of the Commonwealth, at the Cathedral of Christ Church in Hull to attend services then engage with Episcopal Church leaders to establish interfaith dialogues and to find areas where Celestial and Episcopal charities may find cooperation.

On Tuesday the Prophetess will be joined by Secretary Quickfeather to discuss a bilateral mutual defense agreement against re-colonization with Yukon's Commonwealth.

On Wednesday Mrs. Althoff will be joined by family to enjoy nature excursions near the Yukon-Nanukan border facilitated by known Celestial Christians and Missionaries.

On Thursday Althoff and family expect to continue private vacationing in Nanuka with Celestial faithed hosts.

On Good Friday the Prophetess will attempt to host an on-stage interfaith dialogue with protestant and atheist intellectuals in Harper's Landing, Nanuka. Rather than a debate thought and faith leaders will be asked: "How can we save this planet together?" Secretary Quickfeather will discuss a bilateral mutual defense agreement against re-colonization with Nanukan officials.

On Saturday morning Althoff will meet with Celestial Christians from Nanuka, in the afternoon Missionaries from Cantignia, and in the evening will lead the largest Harper's Landing Temple in services to honor the death of Christ in the Old World and celebrate his appearance in the New.

Easter Sunday's morning will be private to the Althoff family or focused on a webcast down-Cannie to Grand Covenant Celestial Christians. The remaining afternoon will be dedicated further to Yukon and Nanuka Celestials for Q&A sessions or private meetings.

It is our belief that the Grand Covenant of Cantignia can secure a trilateral mutual defense agreement against re-colonization with Nueva Betica and Josepania in the coming weeks. We would hope that such an agreement might expand soon to the @Azure Commonwealth and the colony from @Radilo to create a sense of stability and security in the southern hemisphere. Special Envoy Wilbur Ordóñez will remain in this region to facilitate our ongoing effort there.

Article II — Leveraging Peace​

Determined to prevent activation of the military defense option of this treaty, signatory parties will make every effort to coordinate diplomatic and economic measures to prevent the Old World's Imperial incursions, both present and future, into Westernesse, Occidentia, & Oceania.

Article III — Joint Command​

Signing nations, Cantignia will establish a special Hemispheric Defense Office (hereby referred to as HDO) to oversee relevant military cooperation, intelligence sharing, and training operations in Neu Antorff, Cantignia with Josepania who will thusly create their own team to coordinate from Ciudad de San José. In the event of conflict Sylvania will strategically consent to move the HDO center to meet the needs of our response.

Article IV — Withdrawal & Non-Participation​

If a signatory nation wishes to withdraw from this Westernesse-Occidentian-Oceanic Defense Agreement a fair warning of divestment should be given measuring no less than 1 calendar year. Non-participation, after this treaty is activated, should incur severe monetary consequences should the defending nation survive Colonial Incursion without aid from its signed ally.

We wish to emphasize our strategic belief that a multi-lateral agreement requires a singular host for the Hemispheric Defense Office and we are prepared to foot the bill in Neu Antorff, Cantignia alongside this summer's suggested naval wargames in what we today call Oceania.

Next, we suggest a compromise to the ongoing dispute regarding the name and nomenclature of our large and diverse region. Next, in the tongues of Josepania or Nueva Betica, we might in their language version of this agreement continue to call the continental shelf the Occident or Occidentia, and that Cantignia's sub-region be known in those languaged versions Occidental Oceanía.

Recognizing Oceania's subregional presence to the upper continental shelfs, the down-Cannie legislators and diplomats are prepared to retitle this organization the Westernesse - Occidentia Defense Agreement (WODA).

The Estados Unidos de Nueva Bética salutes both its neighbours to the north and to the south and warmly congratulates them for the visionary politics of bringing forth a common denominator for the New World, be it labelled Westernesse or Occidentia, that being the importance of preserving the sovereignty, freedom, peace and democracy of the nations and peoples living here, against the vultures of the Old World which stand against in waiting for when signs of weakness are being shown.

Thus, we will gladly join this august organisation and sign the agreement to join in the defence of out continental homeland together with our brothers the Cantignians, Josepanians and Sylvanians. The National Armed Forces and the Police Service of Nueva Bética will stand together with them in the defence of our free lands against any signs of imperialist aggression, so as to ensure a future that is worth living in for the next generations and for posterity.

With earnest recognition of our sacred sovereign duty to protect and uphold peace and dignity of independent nations of Westernesse & Oceania;

Acknowledging a desire to safeguard freedom and our profound destiny through defense of seas, aerospace, lands, and next the digital frontier;

The Grand Covenant of Cantignia and The United States of Nueva Bética hereby enter into this Mutual Defense Treaty, united against aggression from the Empires and Colonizing Powers of the Old World.

An armed assault or attempt of re-colonization against Nueva Bética shall be considered an attack against Cantignia, and thusly, such an attack upon Cantignia shall be considered an attack upon Nueva Bética. Signing nations will prepare for and once activated execute military, economic, and diplomatic defense responses.
