I have always been respected for saying my thoughts loudly and for being a defender of the downtrodden. Nueva Betica doesn't need to bring immigrants from outside the Occidentian Community, especially as our state can't even ensure housing and labour for our citizens, and then for comunity citizens, let alone bringing in hundreds of thousands of Caledonians. With the attack on the NA flight 356, it is clear that the Church of Solaren, from Gallo-Germania, is spreading here too and we must not allow that. This nation was developed on the precepts of Secularism, and this must not change. We will join in with the Blancos to vote tomorrow against the Refugee Bill.​

A leak from the police investigation has turned the narrative of the Neobetican Airlines Flight 356 totally around. It seems that 15 of the victims were top lieutenants of the Rio Guayas Cartel. Further investigation of the communications between the tower and the plane and its black box have shown that the initial news of an attacker stating that he was doing it to fight heretics and pagans is false. Judges don't order arrests, they order pre-trial detention. It's the police that make arrests. Unless there's a judge accompanying every police officer
in "OTW", whatever that name means. Also, being a high-ranking member of a designated terror group is typically considered a crime in most countries. Not in ones named after a meme and with a meme as a flag, apparently.

An arrest is made by police if they witness a crime taking place or by order of a prosecutor if evidence of a crime emerges following a complaint submitted to him. Pre-trial detention takes place after the arraignment, when a detained suspect is brought before a judge who determines that the suspect must be held pending trial due to re-offence or flight risk concerns. In this case, the police could obviously notice that a crime was being committed (i.e., the "bishops" were publicly leading a designated terror group), so they could be arrested in flagrante delicto. I assume that in OTW, if the police see me robbing a store, they have to go and file evidence and await a judgment before arresting me, at which point I might as well have fled the country.

President Marissa de Herrera has met with the families of the victims at the Roberto Flores Conference Center in Cumana. There were some absentees, namely the families of the alleged cartel members, but the majority have participated at the event. The president promised that the perpetrators will be brought to justice and that the nation will never return to the drug fuelled Bloody Decade. The Government also announced a one million peso aid to every family that lost a member in the air crash. Between 1985 and 1995, the name Nueva Betica was synonimous with cocaine trafficking, narcoterrorism, huge criminality and a wave of refugees that left for Josepania, Sylvania, Auraria and the Hansa. Today, we have put behind these shameful labels, but back then, the world opened their arms to us, and while some always accused all of us of being cartel sicarios, they were just an annoying minority. Ordered by the public prosecutor after confirmation by the court and then carried out by the executive branch. The police is a significant part of the security apparatus. In other words, an independent agency for information gathering that contributes solving crimes.

You hate repeating... something you never said? Also, apparently arrests can take place without a judge's intervention in OTW? Wow, we're making progress. The notion you're looking for is called "notitia criminis"--it is the knowledge of the crime that the judiciary (not the "executive"--does OTW not have separation of powers?) must have in order to prosecute a crime. In the case of a crime in flagrante delicto, the notitia criminis is the direct perception of the crime by the police. In the case of a crime not so committed or a suspected crime, a report needs to be submitted to the judiciary. In the case of the Urbanite "bishops," the proscription decree designating their organisation as a terror group constitutes notitia criminis, so the police can make the arrest. Since the "bishops" are already inscribed as officials of the designated terror group in public records, their participation in the said organisation is ipso facto a crime, that they can be arrested for. Thanks for playing Criminal Law 101. Blocked.
