We may be accused by many things, but we still hold our love for the people and the nation close to our hearts. The Blanco Party has been the most mature in its administration, being the party of law and order, which was also fiscally conservative. Now, the cheapt populism of the Colorados have brought us back into the days of terrorism and they also want to paint us as racists only for wanting to defend the nation. This morning, we have submitted a motion of no confidence, to be voted by the congress as soon as possible. This disastrous government needs to be recalled and a new one with congress legitimacy must replace it.

The fact that I stand today in support with del Pozo and his Blancos, is shocking even for me, let alone for others, but the fact that we have Colorado defectors joining us and we are collaborating with the Blancos, this just shows how disastrous the Herrera administration is. We have co-signed the motion of no confidence and once voted, we will ensure that we put behind this terrible regime and ensure that the people of Nueva Betica are again safe from terrorism and incompetence. Some have attacked me for my position in regards to the Refugee Bill. I stand by my words, as I can smell bullshit easily. It was just a ploy to flood this country with cheap immigrants.

Presidenta Marissa de Herrera has been asked by the press what is her position in regards to the motion of no confidence, to which she responded that she prefers to not comment on it. It is expected that the motion will pass, as the Colorado administration is in the minority, despite the support from the Azules. Even so, the Casa Amarilla has issued a quite cryptic communique on this, stating that this evening, a very important message from the Presidenta will come out. At the moment there are only rumours, but some believe that it might be a call for snap elections. #ElEspectador #WesternJournalism

It is troublesome to see such instability in our southern neighbor especially now that they are part of a larger collective community. Critics of my administration ask why Sylvania has kept out of the various free trade and defensive blocks that have popped up recently and my response is that bilateral agreements are easier to terminate then giving up our sovereignty to large political blocs. Regardless Sylvania remains a friend to Neuva Betica and we hope that should there be a change in leadership, they will remain friendly to Sylvania.

You hate repeating... something you never said? Also, apparently arrests can take place without a judge's intervention in OTW? Wow, we're making progress. The notion you're looking for is called "notitia criminis"--it is the knowledge of the crime that the judiciary (not the "executive"--does OTW not have separation of powers?) must have in order to prosecute a crime. In the case of a crime in flagrante delicto, the notitia criminis is the direct perception of the crime by the police. In the case of a crime not so committed or a suspected crime, a report needs to be submitted to the judiciary. In the case of the Urbanite "bishops," the proscription decree designating their organisation as a terror group constitutes notitia criminis, so the police can make the arrest. Since the "bishops" are already inscribed as officials of the designated terror group in public records, their participation in the said organisation is ipso facto a crime, that they can be arrested for. Thanks for playing Criminal Law 101. Blocked.

So you caught the priests inflagranti blowing themselves up and parts of their congregation? But what lies inside Pelasgia's cells? Severed limbs and remains of charred body parts accusing them of terrorism? You apparently categorically ruled out in advance that this could have been a rampage by lone perpetrators. Justicia should wear a blindfold in order to be able to judge independently. These people are being held on general suspicion without legal representation. After a few torture sessions, each of them will definitely be ready to confess everything, Pelasgia wants to heare.

@PresidentEaston Stability is something that the Colorados have always seen as extremely important, as it is holding good relations with the countries around it, as part of the Acosta Doctrine, which always made us prioritise trade, good neighbourliness and human rights. My decision to call for a snap election has been the nuclear option, but with the current Congress, it was clear that after the Blancos and the Rojos took down my administration, there was no possible way of forming a government. With this we are avoiding worse instability. Whatever will happen after this election, Nueva Betica will always respect its neighbours and will continue to build good relations with them.

The Josepaño people have spoken, and I am pleased to see the Imperial Congress has come to its senses. There was no bullying, simply a reminder of the need for humanity and kindness in such dark times. I hope El Emperador stays safe.

I will never forget the support of the Josepaño people during this terrible time, and sincerely appreciate the Imperial Congress for giving me this chance to help my wife. I will take every precaution, and we will both come home safe.

I am glad to see that Emperor Constantino is finally able to travel to see his wife. I can only imagine how distraught and angry I would be if I could not be by my wife's side in her time of need. All of Sylvania continues to pray for the swift recovery of the Empress.

The political campaign is underway and it seems that the Colorados are going full steam ahead. President Herrera has held rallies in Cumana and now is travelling to a rally in San Sebastian, before meeting with veterans of the Police and Army which have fought against criminality in the Bloody Decade. At the same time, Santiago del Pozo is organising meetings with trade unions and employer organisations in the States of Demerara and Carabobo. Ariadna Montes is set to organise a red block march through Cumana. #ElEspectador #WesternJournalism

A society should be judged on how it treats its worst off members. The laissez faire model that dominated this country in the last century brought us record levels of inequality and the violence of narco-cartels. This time, we are going against it. Colorado administration has brought high levels of quality of life that were never seen before in these United States. It is time to continue the project and to fight against the forces of evil that exploit man and state alike. Only Colorado administration can provide the quality necessary to offer sustainable growth which can be felt by all, not just the very few.

This country needs more than cheap rhetoric. It fell to populism once in the 50s and it brought us the curse of Herrerismo, which always acted like a break on the engines of growth that us, Blancos, worked so hard to set up. This time, Colorado corruption has brought us a return of cartels and narcoterrorism. This si why, it is important to reject cheap populism and go for a government of specialists and experts, which can provide a true improvement in the lives of Neobeticos both at home and abroad. It is time to put an end to the cursed legacy of the Herreras, and this can be done only with a vote for the Blancos.

The authorities have identified a new cartel, which has at the moment been labelled as Los Salvajes, for the very violent and bloody way they made their entry into the underground world of the nation. The police reports released at the moment seem to point towards the belief that they are headed by veterans of the old Cartel de Valdez, which, under the leadership of infamous Pedro Pablo Ramirez, caused much of the violence of the Bloody Decade. The authorities also announced that with the attack on Flight 356, the Rio Guayas Cartel is all but defunct. #ElEspectador #WesternJournalism

Abercrombie Crossing has continued to be an interesting place. Originally a refugee camp, it has been officially approved as a town in Yorck. Notably, their football club is playing in a world tournament, and now its very diverse population can consider having themselves a home. Interesting story, especially as the Hanseatic occupation zone in Caledonia has seen emigration to this town which has a high Caledonian population for obvious reasons, as well as better access to food and commodities. #NordlagskeTidende #EuropeanJournalism

A great victory for the forces of the people, democracy and progress. Starting today, the Colorados will work even closer with our brothers, the Azules and we will form a government so that we can get to work. The people have voted for a Nueva Betica that is stable, orriented towards the many, not the fie. A Nueva Betica open to aid the poor and the needy, and which turns its back to oligarchs, criminals and oportunists. All societies are judged by their worst off, and now, it is time to work to make this society great!

The results of the elections have been made official this evening! The Blancos and Colorados have lost their duopoly over the congress, winning only 37% and 18% respectively. The main surprises came from the Rojos, which have won 23% of the vote and the Azules, with 22%, out of 3% the last time. This means that the end of the two party system has come to an end, making Nueva Betica a true multiparty democracy. Even so, the current coalition will continue, as the Colorados and Azules will form the government. Because of the much stronger Azul presence, it is believed that the new government will be even more progressive and social liberal, to the chagrin of the Blancos, which have been demoted to a minor party. #ElEspectador #WesternJournalism

The Union Patriotica, known as the Azules, have finally risen to become one of the main players in the politics of this nation! This just shows, that politics centred on the respect of the individual and the understanding that we must be welcoming, and provide equal opportunities for all. We have won a trifecta in the State of Apure and in the Capital District of Cumana, this shows that slowly, as the quality of life in the country increases, the talking points of the bigoted Blancos or the insane Rojos, and their artificial culture wars, show their moral bankruptcy. This nation will be a vanguard of social progress in the world. This nation will be a vanguard of fighting against narco-cartels and their toxicity to the whole human society.

The people have turned us from a 3% party to the 2nd largest in the Congress. This just shows that if we hold on to our ideals of a workers' vanguard state in Nueva Betica, where we reject liberalism and oligarchy, we will soon become the only relevant party in the nation's politics. The Colorados still hold on, despite their corruption. The Azules have risen, but the people will understand that social progressivism is nothing with class consciousness, especially as they are neoliberal. The Blancos have been thrown where they belong, to the piece of shit of history. It is time for the people to rise and reject the politics and economics that have destroyed this country.

For the first time in decades and in this century, the government has managed to tackle inflation, with the national bank announcing a 9.5% inflation rate for the last quarter of 2024. High inflation has been a curse of the Christian Democratic governments since the 90s, and has been seen by many as a characteristic of the Meridian economy, with the highest rate being 50% in 2022. The policies of the current Social Democratic government, with high interest rates have managed to push it down, despite a reduction of new credits being taken, with many fearing that this might affect the housing market and bring it into a crisis. #MeridianNews #TempsdeValls

I am saddened to learn that Empress Catarina MacCulloch Constantino has passed away from her injuries caused by the terrorist bombing in Caledonia. My prayers go out for Emperor Constatino. I am ordering the flag to be flown at half staff in memorial to the Empress' life and service to her people and the world.
