I have moved to task the Standing Commission on Foreign Affairs to name the National Liberation Movement of Rio de Oro a terrorist organization after they have publicly claimed responsibility for the tragic train derailment in the Crown of Ebria. All peoples on this planet deserve freedom, but it cannot come at the cost of innocent life. No one, no matter the cause, has a right to deny an innocent person their life. The CCCR does not now, nor will it ever, stand for terrorism.

Extremely shocked by the events in Rio de Oro. We will continue to monitor the situation and offer our support to the legitimate government in El Aaiun, in defence to the Ebrian Crownlands and their associated states. The Social Republic proclaimed by the terrorists is nothing but an attempt to transform an anarchic chaotic group hellbent on war and destruction into a state, but they will fail, for in the end, the voice of the Oreños can be heard and is listened through their electoral system and it legitimises the constitutional government of the State. We stand by in the defence of these ideals and will not allow our associated states and friends be bullied by groups that wish to destroy the constitutional regime through the use of political violence.​

Rebel forces of the National Liberation Movement of Rio de Oro have taken over the administration of the municipality of Villa Cisneros, in the interior of Rio de Oro, proclaiming the Social Republic of Rio de Oro. The government in El Aaiun has announced that it will soon prepare a police action to retake the town and end this odyssey. Some analysts have been concerned that only a few Ebrians and Christians have preferred to leave the town of Villa Cisneros this morning, creating the fear that there is a sort of complicit support by many of the locals. #ElEspectador #EbrianNews​

Ich habe mittlerweile dieses Gestehungsvideo auch gesehen. Wenn das alles wahr ist, sind eine Entschuldigung von seiten der Regierung und ein Ermittlungsverfahren sicher fällig. Aber... Ehrlich gesagt weiss ich nicht, was ich von diesem Video halten soll. Der Mann im Video sah sehr ängstlich aus. Es sieht danach aus, dass er unter Druck gesetzt worden ist, und dann ist juristisch gesehen dieses Video nichts wert. Aus genau dem selben Grund, weswegen mittels Folter errungene Geständnisse nichts wert sind: Die Person die gefoltert wird, wird alles sagen, damit die Folter aufhört. Auch die Unwahrheit. Urteilt aber selber.

I saw this confession video as well. If all of this is true, an apology from the government and an investigation are certainly needed. But... to be honest, I don't know what to make of this video. The man in the video looked very frightened. It appears as if he was put under pressure, and from a legal perspective, that makes this video worthless. For the exact same reason that confessions obtained through torture are worthless: the person being tortured will say anything to make the torture stop. Even things that aren't true. But judge for yourselves.

OSINT accounts have reported thoroughly on what seems to have been a disastrous police action organised by the government of Rio de Oro to restore order in the city of Villa Cisneros. Rebels seem to have ambushed the the police and National Guard convoy, and despite being delayed and disorganised, the security forces still attempted to enter the city only to meet with the resistance of the rebels which have fortified the city. It is estimated that about 30 to 40 police and guardsmen were killed and many more wounded in what has been called a complete disaster. The Rio de Oro government is now set to mobilise the army to pacify the interior. #ElEspectador #EbrianNews​

The escalation of the Crisis in Rio de Oro is extremely concerning. The Status of Moncloa, an act of constitutional valor issued more than 80 years ago have given the Viceroyalties of Natal, Corrientes and Rio de Oro the right to fully administer themselves, becoming sovereign nations, being associated with Ebria only through the Ebrian Community, which forms a common market, a common Crown and a common defence policy for them all. The terrorists of the National Liberation Movement don't want liberation and decolonisation, they want only to impose their extremist ideology and turn the rule of law into their political experiment which will lead only to suffering and violence.​

I have ordered the National Army to begin mobilising for it is our duty, as the constitutional government with the legitimacy that emanates not from the barrel of the gun but from the ballot, to defend the people, the constitution and our nation. Abu Samir and his gang of bandits will suffer tenfold for each Oreño citizen that they killed, wounded or traumatised. We will ensure that peace and democracy prevails against the political extremists, their terror organisation and their illegitimate "Social Republic".​
