The map you're looking at is not coloured for alliances. The colours of that specific map represent nothing other than to differentiate between nations and unoccupied landmass.
Eiffelland and the Engellexian Republic share the same green, and we are not allied.

Can Gouw Marken be greened?
• He was last seen: 11 July 2018. It’s been over six months, quickly approaching seven months seen he’s last logged in.
• He last posted 18 March 2018. We’re getting closer to a year since he’s posted.
• No comment was made in the absence thread from what I’ve seen.
It would be good to have it greened so maybe I could have an active neighbor someday?

Not exactly like real world, cultural homogeneity yes tho, so you should take a spot near nations with a similar culture or justify the location through RP... Which didn't work for me

So should I apply for different spot on map? I didn't knew the spot had to be similar to real world.
We have ethnic clustering rules for map placement, as part of our longstanding realism drive. I'd open a worldbuilding thread for your nation, putting in some info on your nation (look at other threads in the worldbuilding section for ideas), and it should help with where to go on the map. Other players can respond with ideas and assistance too, get you moving and RPing, and having fun.

Actually I have mashed 3 languages into my name. Uralt is German for Ancient, Frihet is Swedish for Liberty and Jord is Danish for Land

Ohhh, well first of all, I thought “Uralt” was your claim to an application near “China.” As in Uralic, and I imagined you to be a Ryss-like old fashioned Viking Kingdom. If that is true, then I think your map application is ok. Although in that case Ural is incorrectly conjugated; however, you mentioned something on it meaning ancient? I don’t know German.
Frihet is fine.
Jord is where there is another problem. Jord means “land” in Scandinavian languages, but considered to mean something more like... dirt. If in Swedish or Danish or Norwegian, you see “jord” that means like the ground or the earth. Sooo... “potatis finns i jorden.” (Potatoes exist in the earth or ground). ”Sverige är ett stort land.” (Sweden is a big country or land).
If you need a place for your Germanic-Nordic nation may I suggest next to me on the map? If you need space I’m more than willing to give up some of my territory, or if the nation to my west is “greened” or partially vacant (a left over rump state of Gouw Marken may exist) depending on how Engellex decides to handle that region.

Additionally, please rename Nidaros to Helsinghamn, Sogndal to Åköping, Roskilde to Viljeborg, and Silkeborg to Aalbjerg.
As a side note this is in my effort to remove names of RL places.

Now that Bourgogne is bowing out, please make aesthetically pleasing spots in North Gallia... the current way that spot is designed is a mighty hot mess.

I agree, and have wanted to correct those borders for some time. But - Geotri is still there, and I am assuming you do not also include the Serenien lake?

You are more than welcome to reshape my archipelago for any great changes there. If you do a really interesting enough job it would be cool to have my “Danes” the Jysk, have territory on the Gallo-Germanian Continent too.

I am not sure I have the motivation or interest in Geotri, my spare time is restricted and I can't seem to find myself able to divert time into further expanding Geotri. If that makes sense? I do enjoy it here a lot but work keeps me very busy for most the week, so I will lurk for the time being.
