In an effort to promote culture, the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Cumbria invites the filmmakers and culture ministries of the world to join together and present the masterpieces each nation has produced in the last 12 months so that we can all create a new level of cultural dialogue between us. The main value of the Dun Eidyn International Movie Festival is the artistic spirit and the freedom of speech. Through it, we hope that this festival gives chances to the world's best workers in the movie industry to show their spirits without any fear of censorship and limitation. 1956

FEATURE DESCRIPTION:
Cumbrian descended Loagin Euan (Fionntan MacFarlane) has grown up in the conservative and highly nationalistic Cumbric community of Maseru, being taught on how to act, how to speak and how to live as a proper Cumbrian. He gets a chance that many Cumbrians living in Loago are dreaming of: to study at the Dun Eidyn Polytechnic. After being told what to expect in Cumbria proper by his father (Ewen MacKinley), young Euan is completely disappointed when he sees the reality. The Cumbrians that his father told him about have long died, as the image he had was created by his grandfather who migrated from Dun Eidyn to Maseru. The old bleak and grey cities have been transformed into new shiny ones, commercial advertising illuminating the cities day and night, cars agglomerated on the streets, continuous sounds and noises and he never saw of heard of in Maseru are shocking him at first. But after a few weeks, after he meets Lillias (Ronalda MacArthur) he starts to leave behind the life in Loago and to love the realities of Cumbria. Problems hit him after an absurd error was done by the Secretariat of the Polytechnic, which mistakes him with another Euan who had the same surname as him and he has to move back to Loago. Can he adapt back to his old life in Loago, or will he be trapped in a limbo, now knowing where is place is?
OOC: 1952/2012's and 1953/2013 festivals were huge successes and I hope that we can bring them back. It's time to have some culture too, not only barbarous war and destruction.
