Following the initial subsiding of tensions over CBS with involvement of the KU, we are now facing a potential resurgence of activity around CBS. Whilst we do not feel alarmed by the situation and do not feel an immediate threat towards the FST, we anyway wish to act proactively.

Mindful that an open deployment of our assets into FST will provoke agression from the KU, we will continue our low profile undercover ROCC presence and will not move with open military arrangements.

Our goal is to counter-act a potential scenario where the KU could unleash a punitive expedition against FST, should the situation in CBS degrade into armed open conflict. For this purpose, we wish to proactively reinforce cooperation with the Trivodnian military by you allocating combined arms liaisons to the Retalian Armed Forces at the National Defence Coordination Center in Ascona.

You shall find attached an analysis from our strategic analytics team on the potential axis of invasion, possible counter-measures.

Additionally, we would wish to review your armoured and artillery components and your defensive capabilities in face of combined arms invasions from KU. We are ready to escalate our low profile presence with additional consultants to improve the command & control competencies and integration with out forces. This will depend on your readiness to expand the information exchange between FST and GDT on a confidential level.

It is my pleasure to extend you an invitation to meet with me in person to discuss the ongoing political processes in the Free State of Trivodnia. The Grand Duchy of Retalia, being a friend to Trivodnia and all her People is following the events with particular attention. In this light, so as not to limit the Retalian knowledge to one single source, I have been mandated to discuss with you in person the aspirations of the KSDPA, the issue of Krasnislavian politics within Trivodnia and the issue of encroaching Kadikistani influence and aggression against Trivodnia.

Whilst Retalia is a proponent of transparency and openness and we shall have no qualms in defending us speaking to multiple parties in a pluralist democracy should the Free State authorities come quering, I understand fully the potential sensitivity of this matter to you personally and to the KSDPA as a whole.

As such, should you feel that coming to the Retalian Embassy in Amstov might not be the best venue for the meeting, pray, my colleagues will organise a meeting anywhere in the Retalian islands or on a neutral territory. Should you feel that publicity is not an issue, we shall proceed as you deem best.

My sincerest apologies for the late response. Trivodnian politics have been something of a rollercoaster ride recently.

Your commitment to democratic pluralism and cross-party engagement is most admirable, alas I may no longer be placed to speak on behalf of the Krasnislavian Social Democratic People's Assembly - I have been suspended from the Social Democratic Alliance, while the KSDPA is considering taking the leadership away from me.

Should I indeed be forced to stand down, I will direct you to my successor and ensure they make appropriate contact.

I will be happy to host you for a lunch at the embassy in quality of a private person without any obligations to talk on behalf of any political party, but just in quality of an expert on Trivodnian politics and inter-ethnic relations there in.

The Grand Duchy of Retalia views the potential inter-ethnic conflict within Trivodnia with great concern and we see you as a counterpart in seeking ways to mitigate this very potential conflict.
