Since there are many people spreading rumors or generally panicking without a purpose, here is a rundown list of things that will happen in regards to this forum:

-Modern will stay. That means, yes, you can continue to roleplay. Your history, mapspot etc will be preserved.

-There will be a mapmaker team that will ensure timely and accurate updates. For now Sinhai will head this, more announcements on this at another point. Tysk has indicated his intention to cooperate with the transition, for which I thank him.

-There will be a review of the list of people who will be allowed to possess nuclear weapons with different levels of permission. More on this another time.

-Vintage is not a first priority and its future - whether that be 1870, 1920 or something else - is up to discussion. Whether it will be realized as an invisible subforum, a subforum to the current forum or not at all will have to be seen. It will not replace Modern.

-There will be a review whether new moderators will have to be employed. You will get contacted if we consider you a candidate.

That is all there is to it right now. This should negate the need for anyone to open new discussion threads regarding these issues.

Have a Nice Day,

The Administration

There have been some changes to the moderator setup to make sure that the forum will get proper moderation.

Životinje replaces Wazistan as the moderator of the Press Agency.

Životinje and Sinhai will oversee the Library, aka character roleplay, being excellent contributors in this field themselves. Tibura retires from mod duty.

Sinhai and Breotonia join Kyiv to ensure that war disputes will get proper and timely attention again, filling the gap left by the current busy RL of Kryobaijan.

Breotonia
will also make sure that economy is properly dealt with in the World Market, but obviously can also make rulings pertaining to the economy elsewhere.

Kyiv has been assigned the job of Super Moderator as an active and longstanding member of the moderation team that has shown to be capable of moderating everyone swiftly.

Regarding the Council of Nations I ask people to agree on a mod, I will then make sure that person will be able to moderate the CoN forums.

Have fun with your new moderators, everyone!

Currently a system is being tested that allows the forum to load more easily on mobile phones. The ultimate purpose of this is that users will be able to write quick replies to news thread with their mobiles while on the go.
