This is a forum where I will RP important inner government workings and where I will do things with Foreign Officials. I will eidt it to show all my foreign meetings that take place in this forum. If I have a currently ongoing one please wait until that is finished before we hold any talks or anything of that sort.

Veniasufia and Justiza (Completed)

 

[Merioneth]

Prime Minister Kristoffer Hanrach, Interim Foreign Minister Aliona Sinclair, Former Foreign Minister Clint Kingsley and Trade Minister Thomas Bourdeaux stood outside the Justinian jet waiting for the delegation from Justiza to come out. The tension was high after Mr. Kingsley's less than pleasant meeting with Minister Margheri in Cymru Annibynnol. the stakes were high and this could be viewed as a last ditch effort to get relations back on track by some people. There were 3 black sedans waiting for them one for the PM, Foreign Minister and Miss Margheri. one for the Veniasufian Trade Minister and Justinian Trade Minister and one for Mr. Kingsley and the rest of the entourage they also had eight security cars to ensure absolute safety for all of the important guests.

Foreing minister Marghêri was the first to step down from the plane followed by the minister of Trade Luciano Sesterzi, they greeted and shaked hands with the veniasufians, Kingslay was the last to be greeted by Marghêri.

After greeting the Justinian delegation the PM went off to the car with Foreign Minister Marghêri and Interim Foreign Minister Sinclair whilst everyone else went off to their cars. Once in the vehicle they drove off to the newly built Justinian Embassy in the capital in an area known as Diplomate Lieu to some. They reached the magnifficent premises and the ceremony begun. first with the raising of the Veniasufian and Justinian flags and then with a speech from the PM and Interim Foreign Minister also Kingsley's apology for his behaviour to Minister Marghêri and his subsequent resignation and then Foreign Minister Marghêri was asked to come up and do a speech to celebrate the new found friendship between the two nations.

"I'm glad to see our distant nations getting so close. In these times of truble civilized nations like ours must stick together to defend themselved from the barbarians that press at the borders; for this reason the justinian government hopes that this won't just be a friendly meeting, but the start of something great."

 

[Merioneth]

The crowd clapped and cheered as the Ministers were lead off to their vehicles they drove off to the Meeting room at the Palace of the People. Whilst the PM and Foreign Minsters went to his office to discuss foreign policy matters the Trade Ministers began there talks over the creation of a subsidiary of Royal Veniasufian Petroleum Partially run by the Justinian Government. "Nice to meet you Mr. Sesterzi now we can get to work talking over the creation of a Justinian Oil Company that would be a wholly owned subsidary of Veniasufian Colonial Enterprises which is the parent company of Veniasufian Royal Petroleum the subsidary would be traded on the Justinian stock market but 75% of the stocks would belong to VCE so that it isn't publicly owned until it gets up off of the ground"

 

[Furlanìe]

Minister Sesterzi agreed to the terms, Justiza wouldn't be able to extract the oil alone anyway.

 

[Merioneth]

"Well now that we have finished the discussion on that matter, how about we talk about the cargo that we will be importing from Justiza and Vice-Versa"

 

[Furlanìe]

"Yes, yes, the idea was to sell to you, sir, the raw resources from our mines and than buy the end products, this would help you to have the basic risources for your industries and we would get the needed material to develop ours and building our fleet; if you will buy a great quantity of resources we can also think of a discount. Tell me your ideas please, and your impressions on the proposition"

 

[Merioneth]

"Well we have decided to start the operation the goods will need to be flown in to Royal Concord Airport before they are transported to factories a discount would be highly beneficial to both of our economies. Also I think it would be great if we can help to build infrastructure in Justiza things such as roads, bridges, airports it will all be helpful in the long run and we can get you discounts from some of Veniasufia's top building companies. Also the build up of Furzillo if it wants to be a global city it needs to build up its financial and services industry also modernisation will attract companies and even more tourists."

 

[Furlanìe]

"Oh, well for the roads and servicies we don't need help, actually. But having your help to build a big airport would be really beneficial, now more than ever. The Furzillo airport won't be enough in the future, as the cargo planes will reach a big number; than.. oh yes, for Furzillo we would need the approval of the municipality council before accepting or declining your offers, I will personally inform the councilors when I will be back on the island.
There is the municipality of Caminetto, actually, that is trying to boost the local industrial sector, they aim at becoming the nation's industrial capital, we would really appriciate your help in this."

 

[Merioneth]

"Of course we can help with Caminetto and building Furzillo a new airport and an airport in Caminetto aswell since you plan on that being the industrial capital and we as a nation are prepared to invest in Caminetto as long as it strengthens our allies"

 

[Furlanìe]

"Well great than!"

 

[Merioneth]

"Fabulous, I'll get the deal prepared and then we can sign it" he said feeling accomplished after completing his first major trade deal in a while.

 

[Furlanìe]

"Of course" he said, and shaked his hand

 

[Merioneth]

--Meanwhile in the PM's office--

"So Miss Margheri we would like to discuss a stronger military alliance between our nations including maybe our Air Force protecting the Justinian skies and our Navy to help the shipping route return to normal and helping get your economy back on track"

 

[Furlanìe]

"In about 10 years [months] our fleet will be ready, but we can protect our cargoships alone, well, when a superpower is not blockading our coasts of course" she smiled "but as our fighters and bombers are outdated and insufficient, we can use your help, but only when needed, in precise missions for example.
And I would like to sign an official alliance with your nation, so that attacking one of us would mean declearing war on both of us"

 

[Merioneth]

"Hm I see well we will have to discuss as that is quite a big commitment but it will be on the table but that is a thing that I must discuss with my cabinet" said the PM

OOC: Maybe form a NATO kind of thing something like United European Defence Alliance UEDA with lots of nations

 

[Furlanìe]

"This is not a problem, let's consider my proposition as the final objective"

ooc: Yep I would create a thread in the alliances thing but I can't so maybe it will be in the world stage first we should ask others though.
