The Wieser delegation was driven to a small vineyard outside of the capital city of Vittoria, Monte Cervino. Glasses of wine were served and Countess and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ciabatti sat at a table on a desk overlooking the vineyard. The leader of the Wieser delegation was seated next to her and given a glass of red wine. "Cin cin" she said has the Wieser took his seat. She picked up her glass and held it in the air. These talks would prove interesting if nothing else. She would wait for the representative seated across from her to get business started though. She honestly had little to talk about at the moment, but could do plenty of explaining and give plenty of answers to any questions. Which of course she figured would lead into more detailed conversation.

This was a quickly organised summit, but Babelfisch was putting many of his hopes for a peaceful end to the rising tensions between Wiese and Vittoria lately. The remarks by Vittoria had caught Augsburg by complete surprise, and had soon gotten Wiese on a lethal dance which would end, if its military planners were right, in a world war.

He nodded at his Vittorian counterpart and sipped his wine carefully. He tasted it at the top of his mouth and smiled. "An excellent wine, your Excellency. Truly some of the best I have ever had" he nodded truthfully.

Wiese liked wine. Its nobles liked wine, but the problem was that its climate was not suited to it; as such, it was forced to mostly import its wine, and consumption was shadowed by domestic production: beer.

"I do wonder if such bottles are available for export. I would be most interested in sharing this with my acquaintances and friends in Swabia" he nodded light-heartedly. "You know, us Wiesers like wine, though we hardly get as much as we would love to. Perhaps we could make arrangements, if you wouldn't mind."

He put his glass down and cleared his throat. "Excuse me" Babelfisch apologised. "Well, if you wouldn't mind, we could move on to the purpose of my visit. If I may?"

Babelfisch made some space in front of him, and then turned to face the Vittorian minister face on.

"Your Excellency Ms. Ciabatti, I do bring the overwhelming worry of my government to its Vittorian counterpart. His Imperial Majesty Himself personally instructed me that we resolve our differences with the utmost expedience. We were soundly surprised when unfortunate diplomatic exchanges began between our countries, and most disturbed when our War Ministry caused gross misunderstandings between our peoples. I personally arranged for several meetings between myself or the Imperial Chancellor and our counterparts from Sarmatian countries, with the utmost hope to settle our disputes in a civilised manner.

"As such I wish to ask you, Ms. Ciabatti; what are the problems between our peoples, and what will it take to seal them, forever if possible?"
