So there isn't going to be a Europe, Africa or an Asia either? So what will it be called?

Thus far, we have vague ideas for what to call them, but nothing solid.
So far, this is the plan:

Cyrenaica = Africa
Touyou = Asia
Midgard = Europe
Santander = South America
Västerweg = North America

Problem is, many didn't like Touyou because it is Oikawan influenced and the greedy Europeans would've never taken a name from Oikawa. Many people didn't like my homage to the Vikings with Västerweg either. However, it seems to me that Cyrenaica, Midgard, and Santander seem rather solid and there is a strong chance those will stick around.

I don't like Västerweg at all. Way too frikkin' hard to spell off the top of my head.

Then again, coro name. Not surprised.

And I STILL say Europe = Europe

I may have missed it elsewhere but are the Germanic/Scandinavian sounding names explained ICly. Perhaps by the first explorers being of that descent?

I think we should have the American continents be named after their first European discoverer - so we come up with a name for the discoverer and derive the continents name from them then. If it's Columbus it would be Columbia.
All of Asia could be India, since we don't have an indian subcontinent.
Cyrenaica I like.
But I don't like Midgard, too often used by random cheap fantasy authors. How about Atlantica?

Going along with the same theme of Santander I'm thinking we rename the other continents to Barclays, HSBC, Natwest and Northern Rock

:dry:

Right, except Santander is a name of the same series as Bolivia - after an actual individual.
