Agreement to ECONAMS [Attn: Justosia, and other Monarchal nations]

The Two Kingdoms of Jyskerige and Østveg wish to invite the Holy Kingdom of Justosia to an Economic Cooperative Organization of Non-Aggression between Monarchal States (ECONAMS). The point and purpose of such an organization is to assure the other members of both non-aggressive actions between each other, but to also enact free-trade between such nations.

In speaking with Queen Katrine Frederikke, she spoke of the desire of the Holy Kingdom to engage on a bi-lateral basis with other monarchal states. While we are unable to sign to any defensive alliance that would require military commitments, it is within the bounds of our Kingdoms to coordinate agreements of Non-Aggression and trade.

Such an agreement also places a requirement upon the Holy Kingdom of Justosia to recognize the neutrality of the Two Kingdoms formally. Should additional states wish to sign onto the ECONAMS treaty, they must also agree to the same terms. Ascension to ECONAMS requires approval of all members of the organization. In the event that additional states sign on, a permanent diplomatic body will be created in Gøthehavn, in recognition of the Two Kingdom’s permanent neutrality, in which Ambassadors to ECONAMS will meet and be housed. Such a body would exist for conflict resolution between members in order to maintain the goal of non-aggression between Monarchal states.

It is our sincere hope that this agreement is something that the Justosian people can agree to.

We fully recognize & respect your neutrality. We have just recently eliminated all tariffs on incoming trade. With this agreement, let our 2 kingdoms become staunch traders. We are honored to be invited into this agreement. We support fully all facets. A formal ECONAMS ambassador shall be appointed immediately.

As his empowered and esteemed representative, appointed and approved both by his Royal Decree and the Assignation of the Dominion Congress, it is my most humble privilege to accept the invitation to assume powers plenary as Ambassador to the Two Kingdoms, and act as most high but not sole voice of diplomacy and representation between not only our two nations, but with the emerging and distinct Economic Cooperative Organisation of Non-Aggression between Monarchical States (ECONAMS)

We would be most gratified if these two distinct but united responsibilities were recognised and affirmed by all those it may concern, and in so doing, provide us the basis by which further relations may be extended and established.

To Whit,

It is the intention of the Mazidian Dominion to establish an Imperial Ambassador in the Two Kingdoms for the purpose of overseeing the efficient and reasonable enforcement and promotion of the interests of said Dominion, both with regards to relations between the Dominion and the Two Kingdoms, but also:

To further the creation and affirmation of the aforementioned Economic Cooperative etcetera, and implement what reasonable and rational measures, policies and enactments said body may propose and be found agreeable to our interests.

We anticipate a long and fruitful relationship, and look forward to further correspondence and productive conciliation to mutually beneficial economic ends.

The Two Kingdoms of Jyskerige and Østveg are incredibly pleased to hear and recieve the appointment of Álvaro Queipo de Tordeno, the Fourth Count of Novo Carthago to Gøthehavn to conduct both relations with the Two Kingdoms and the aforementioned ECONAMS group. It is our heartfelt welcome to both our humble capital city of Gøthehavn and to the ECONAMS family that we hope brings you great pleasure in your arrival, as the cold and the darkness of winter shall not extend the same greetings much to the dismay of most travelers.

As always we are most gracious to the news that the Sun King has recognized the neutrality of the Jysk-Austwegian people and their subsequent realms. A Caledonian scholar once noted that, ‘To feel much for others and little for ourselves; to restrain our selfishness and exercise our benevolent affections, constitute the perfection of human nature.’ We feel the Sun Kung exemplifies these qualities admirably in his recognition and ascension to this treaty. The door shall always be open for the Imperial Ambassador who we now call our friend.

Unfortunately we cannot at this time say we approve of the application of the Mazidian Dominion as we have no formal diplomatic relations with & know next to nothing of their nation. We want very much to change that. Our Ministry Foreign de Royale shall be initiating diplomatic contact soon.

I also wish to inform the 2 kingdoms that I myself have assumed the role of formal ambassador to ECONAMS.

A place of temporary residence will be put aside once the Hurricane damage to our capital has been cleared, and we would be honoured to welcome representatives of the Justosian Kingdom.

As no Imperial Ambassador has been assigned to Justosia, I will temporarily handle all official communications, though no binding commitments can be made without full recognition from King and Congress.

The Two Kingdoms of Jyskerige and Østveg are grateful to see that ECONAMS has taken shape and will represent the greatest interests in pacifism and trade in Europe whilst maintaining the cultural heritage of our historic pasts, and for some of our lands the present monarchies. The Great Southern Kingdom, Grand Duchy, and Mazidian Dominion will be called into regular meetings for the purpose of open communication between our nations.

As opposed to our counterpart Mr. Blount, our Two Kingdoms have no interest expanding this agreement to an alliance. Such discussion can move to talks in person at the new Headquarters in Gothenhagen.
