To the attention of the governments of Kadikistan, Crotobaltoslavonia, Trivodnia, Elbe, Geotri, Eiffeland, Nichtstein/Retalia and Xinhai.

Honoured Leaders of many nations, we call upon you in this grave hour, to avert the still graver prospect of regional war, and to come to Midweis and attend an All-Parties Peace Conference.

We recognise that each nation has vested interests, and concerns about the escalating situation. We urge each government to dispatch its seniormost delegates, and to seek a peaceful resolution before the situation grows too unstable.

We regret the speed with which uncertainty and the rumours of conflict have spread, and we implore all nations to take heed and allow us to serve our time-honoured role as neutral mediators and hosts for this conference.

We seek no favour, nor to define the topics of discussion, only that all nations please consider the alternatives. I assure you, people the world over will thank you for the effort.

We look forward to your response, and, we hope, your participation. War, it is said, is the last recourse of the desperate and the cowardly. We know that times are not so desperate yet, and we are confident that together, a mutual resolution can be found.

We commend the Archchancellor for his overtures to peace, and echo the necessity for diplomatic solution to the conflict. The People's Republic of Xinhai is committed to a peaceful resolution of the disputes within sovereign nation of Crotobaltislavonia, and stands beside our Rurikgrad Pact partners in their treaty-obligated intervention in the defense of the sole legitimate government of Crotobaltislavonia.

Despite this, we concede that we have no stake in the current conflict, which we believe solely exists between Kadikistan and CBS and their opponents, the traitor Radek, his foreign backers, and foreign-armed elements such as the so-called Queen from Elben. Given that the People's Republic of Xinhai has no personnel in CBS, we do not see a need to participate in this conference.

As such, we defer to Ivar to settle the matter diplomatically, and warn any nation and entity that an attack on Kadikistan, her soldiers, her people, or her assets, is tantamount to an attack against the People's Republic of Xinhai.

The Grand Duchy of Retalia does not recognise the validity or obligations of any secret pacts, done out of sight of the world community. As such, any "treaty obligations" claimed by Kadikistan are considered null and void.

The Grand Duchy of Retalia stands firmly in defence and protection of the Free State of Trivodnia, condemns the anti-jewish hysteria within Crotobaltislavonia and the menaces levied by Kadikistan against Trivodnia.

Provided the above, the Grand Duchy of Retalia commends our partners in the Republic of Bergenheim for their initiative and fully supports any and all moves towards peace. As such, the Grand Duchy shall gladly attend this conference, represented by Hanz Geldmann, First Councillor to the Minister for Foreign Affairs, to ensure peace is given a fair chance to succeed.

We commend Archchancellor Vogt for this key initiative and thanks him for the invitation to attend the peace conference, for which we humbly accept. We shall send our ambassador in Bergenheim, Antonia Shulte, to the meeting to represent us as a neutral third party to reaffirm a fair deal between the parties at hand.

Office of the President of the Free State of Trivodnia

The Free State of Trivodnia would like nothing more than for a de-escalation of tensions and a return to normalcy in central Gallo-Germania. But we fear it may be too late for peace conferences, with news reports of Kadikistan planning an imminent invasion of Trivodnia in retaliation for a coup it had no involvement in. The fact that Ivar has now mobilised its entire Western Direction, and Xinhai, while claiming to have no interest in Crotobaltislavonia, is looking to deploy military units close by, gives us serious cause for concern for our own national security.

On those grounds, President Meier Lauterpacht will not attend any peace conference in the Republic of Bergenheim. As commander-in-chief of the Free State's Self-Defence Forces, President Lauterpacht will remain to coordinate the defence of his home country should Kadikistan indeed act on its worst instincts.

A special representative acting on behalf of the President, invested with his full authority, will however attend, on the condition that Kadikistan once more recommit to the independence and sovereignty as per the terms of the 1921 peace treaty.

Should Kadikistan recommit to our independence and sovereignty, said special representative would be more than willing to attend. However, this attendance is only a reflection of Trivodnia's position as a neighbouring country. As stated countless times, and reiterated by our friends in Retalia, Amstov has not and is not cooperating with General Alexander Radek or any other rebel forces in Crotobaltislavonia, and has been the victim of a vicious propaganda campaign by Banja Luka and Ivar.
