Tidwell Records merges with Globus Audio to form American Music Group, the largest family of record labels in America

Today, it has been jointly announced by representatives of Tidwell Records and Globus Audio, in a joint event in the city of Camden, at the Carolina Tower, that a merger is to occur between the two corporations. In the event were present the senior executives and major shareholders of both companies. Both record companies are known across America and worldwide for some of their bands, Cream, The Traveling Wilburys and the Electric Light Orchestra, the first with Tidwell Records and the last two with Globus Audio, and some artists who have signed individually with them, some of which were also members of bands during different times, such as Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton. With the merger, all of the record labels held by Tidwell Records and Globus Audio will be transfered to the newly-formed American Music Group, or AMG.

It has been also released that AMG, just newly born, will be housed in the famous Carolina Tower, the very same place in which the press release about the merger was released. The Carolina Tower has long been known as the center of the music sector in Philadelphia and indeed, the entire American Union, serving as the headquarters of Tidwell Records and other companies, but it is primarily known as so due to the fact that it is situated in the center of Camden's Greene District, the very heart of the large American music industry, and as a direct result of the importance of the same, a center of international renown in the music sector. AMG will purchase the tower in its entirety and will headquarter there in a few months; Not only it will raise the international profile of AMG, it will also strengthen the reputation of Greene District as an internationally acclaimed center of the American music industry.

The merger has said be orchestrated by Richard Quince, a Philadelphian billionaire, a Camden native and a notable philanthrope (who is currently a member of the Association of Affluent Donors and previously fulfiled the role of the Vice Chairman of the Philantropy Congress), who was, prior to the merger, the full owner of Tidwell Records, which he bought six years ago; With the merger, he is going to own %55 of the new company, which is going to be the largest family of records labels in America. The merger was managed by GA Brooke, one of the more prominent M&A consultation companies in the American Union.

Catholic clergy loses their war in the courts against the 'commercial Christmas'
Union of Catholic Clergy v. American Christmas Organisation (Minnesota)

Today, at the C.A. Richards Courthouse in the city of Providence, Minnesota, the Supreme Court of Minnesota has delivered its verdict on the rather exotic case of the 'Union of Catholic Clergy v. National Christmas Organisation'; There, the Union of Catholic Clergy, presumably following the spirit of Pope Marcus-Clemens II's declaration against the commercialization of Christmas, launched a full-scale judicial assault against the National Christmas Organisation, claiming that by commercializing Christmas, they deliberately assault the most basic fundamentals of their religion. The American Christmas Organisation is registered in every state of the Union and is responsible for organising major Christmas celebrations all across the Union, organising communal purchases of Christmas merchandise (like Christmas trees) and more. While the organisation has no special legal status and membership is completely voluntary, in the spirit of brotherhood almost every community in America is a member. The Union of Catholic Clergy, is, as its name suggests, the national union of clergy of the Dominican Catholic Church in the American Union; The majority of its members, like the majority of the Catholic population, come from Chelsea Island (about %75).

The Supreme Court of Minnesota delivered a 'not guilty' verdict, after a non-jury trial, because both the defendant and the plaintiff were non-peers. The Supreme Court of Minnesota cited several major reasons; First of all, it hasn't not been sufficiently proven that the National Christmas Organisation would violate the fundamentals of the Catholic religion by commercializing Christmas and, "the most important and fundamental reason", as the Chief Justice of Minnesota said, "is the fact that we live in a free state. And we cannot compel anyone to change their ways because the creeds of another man's religion or a clerical figure of another claims so." The very claim itself was deplored by the Congress of American Churches, since it was claimed by the CAC, a central figure in the American religious playfield, that once churches try to impose their will or creed on the general public, "we are striding on a very slippery slope."

This event has also caused patriotic groups, such as Union of American Patriots, to march against a perceived 'Attempt to destroy the American way of life' and the 'attempt to impose a religious creed on the American people'; The American Christmas Organisation enjoys vast support amongst the American populace, and a recent poll found out that the works of the American Christmas Organisation are cherished by %79 of the American population. Riders on the wave of American patriotism were anti-Popery groups, most notably the Anti-Popery Militia, who show fierce resistance to the Catholic establishment in America and in general.

:!: The 'Presidential Rock Gigs' festival started today in the Lee Plaza, Port Republic; President Orville Bancroft, a billionaire, personally financed this music show to which over 150,000 people will attend. Prominent politicians will also be playing there; President Orville Bancroft and the Secretary of Defence Alexander Moore will play as a guitar-drum duo the songs 'War Pigs', 'Iron Man', 'Crossroads', 'Cocaine' and 'Enter Sandman' and Senator Randolph Cushing will play 'Mr. Crowley' by himself. The president, in a mood for bipartisanship, has turned to the opposition and asked not to shun themselves of the show, and so Thomas Hemingway, Joel Wilson and Timothy Pickering, three Free Yeomen senators from Dixie, enjoined themselves in a musical ensemble and will play the songs 'Sweet Home Alabama', 'Oh, Pretty Woman', 'Tweeter and the Monkey Man' and Bob Dylan's cover to the song 'House of the Rising Sun'; Also, Matthew Shipman, a Republican-Liberal senator from Zealand, more known for his electric guitar skills than his role as a senator, will play 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Smoke On The Water', 'Car Chase City' and the 'Pick of Destiny' by himself; Shipman's jam is excepted only to be overtaken in popularity and quality by the ensemble of the President and the Secretary of Defence.

:!: The Federal Investigative Service has apprehended Christian Whitter, a Catholic from Chelsea Island suspected in counterfeiting currency in a supposed attempt to 'lessen social disparities' and 'help the needy'; Whitter has also been known to spread Communist and Christian Socialist material throughout northern Minnesota. His arrest was seeked not only federally for currency counterfeiting but also by the Minnesota State Police for murdering two representatives in the Minnesota state legislature for supporting the free market. This has only further intensified the execration towards the Catholic community and strengthed the anti-Popery movement, especially in Minnesota.

Conservative Catholics shot the President while playing in the Presidential Rock Gigs
Anti-Catholic sentiments strengthen and gain momentum; State legislatures issue Anti-Popery laws

Yesterday, at the Lee Plaza, extremist conservative Catholics, shot President Bancroft while he was playing at the Presidential Rock Gigs. During the guitar solo of 'Iron Man', three Catholics situated amongst the crowd pulled pistols and began shooting repeatedly towards the President, who was busy rocking-out and couldn't have noticed his Catholic want-to-be-assassins. The poor Popish aim skills probably saved the President's life, and he was only shot in his leg; The President's dear Gibson Flying V, however, did not survive the fall. Agents of the Federal Investigative Service immediately apprehended the shooters and brought them to custody in a nearby unknown detainment facility. Press releases from the Federal Investigative Service indicate that these were Catholics from Chelsea Island, the main residence for Catholics in the Union. The President was said to be recovering fast and will soon be back on his feet. Owing to President Bancroft's enormous popularity, tens of thousands of people from all across America sent him cards and gifts.

The attempt on such a popular figure's life has caused a huge outcry amongst the American population; Adding to the already existing anti-Catholic sentiments amongst the population, remnant from the fallout of the Union of Catholic Clergy's attack on the National Christmas Organisation, an anti-Catholic is currently forming in the American consensus. The state legislatures of York, Dixie and Zealand have passed Anti-Popery acts, more statements than laws; Warnings to the Catholic establishment not to upset the American way of life and a protest against inducting Catholic immigrants to the aforementioned states; Should this gain the fullest of support from these three states' delegations to the federal government, any attempt to give citizenship to a Catholic shall be blocked. Of course, due to the fact that most people who get Union citizenship already possess another citizenship and are often foreign officials of importance seeking amity with the Union, and the average of granting citizen status to foreign citizens stands on about one per two years, this is not of much importance.

Anti-Catholic groups, such as the Anti-Popery Militia and the Anti-Popish Covenant, are gaining popular support, and their agenda includes a federal prohibition on further Catholic immigration and travel restrictions from Chelsea Island to the mainland; While the latter is highly unreasonable and is supported by fringe elements, a confederate ban on Catholic immigration is something that begins to gather popularity from the public; The constitutionality of a ban such as this is unchallenged, as it is an issue of collective interest, and such bans have been placed before (for example, a ban on Marquen citizens getting Union citizenship due to the Quasi-War lasting thirty years after said war); However, one must remember that this notion is only supported by a rather insignificant margin of the American population, and would have to be approved in all state legislatures before its actual federal ratification. The Catholic shooters were brought to trial just four hours after their arrest, and are now charged with an attempt of murder.

Freedom loving Živs, from every corner of the Blue Union, extend their most sincere prayers to President Bancroft of the American Union. And as investigators get to the bottom of this, it should be known to all of whom it might concern that this government shall lend its support unto America in all facets that the powers that be see fit.

Circling the wagons around Catholicism, while is in some aspects justifiable, could cause long term upheavel both at home and from the international community. Prejudice based on religion is in all cases a poor standard to live by, even as a growing majority fear for the safety an sovereignty of their nation.

Životinje is not a Catholic nation by any means, our base is in that of the Protestant movement, Unitarian, and by silent majority Episcopal. Tension between the Catholics and our own Churches is a constant, and for periods of time there was certainly a consensus to take action against Radical Catholics operating within the Blue Union. Anger over this atrocity shall pass, as any urge for revenge does, thus we wholeheartedly advise that the American Union proceeds with a careful foresight.

Recent developments in The American Union are concerning and damaging to the AU's ties with Catholic states across the world. We shall monitor the situation.

The Papal States and the Holy See condemns violent actions under any circumstances. But we also want to point out that the public opinion has been influenced heavily by a anti-catholic campaign.
The actions taken by these people, how regrettable and rejectable they may be, are the actions of systematicly stigmatisesed and outlawed people. Driven to the edge of society, they have no other option left than taking the highest risk to point out their situation to the world.
The group of people, called catholics, are in the first place united not with the catholics in the world, but with all oppressed people. That is their mainly concern: to be free and recognised as true citizens.
The government of the American Union needs to reflect on the whole situation and its part in it, if they really wants a solution for the social problems in the country.

Please note; The Union government has taken no stance on Catholicism. State governments are free to issue whatever statements they wish. Note, however, that the state legislatures of Columbia, Minnesota and Philadelphia have rejected any sort of laws against Catholic immigration, and that so a confederate ban on Catholic immigration is legally impossible. We are also informed that the state legislature of Zealand has initiated procedures to repeal its own declaration against Catholic immigration.

Republican-Liberal National Convention

It is the stance of the national convention of the Republican-Liberal Society, the dominant political party, to reject any laws based on religious criteria. The anti-Catholic laws were passed in the states where our grip on the state legislatures is rather weak. We shall be making our utmost effort to repeal these state laws.

Such anti-Catholic sentiment has been noted by His Majesty's government and will be taken into account in future relations between the Kingdom of Montelimar and the American Union.

:!: President Orville Bancroft has given a speech in the annual gathering of the American Defence Congress in which he has stressed the importance of the voluntary militias to the defence of America; "The American minute-men are the single most important asset to the defence of the American nation. Despite all of our differences, in times of war, when a foreign enemy arrives at America, this nation would have no better shield than the audacious men of the militias, ready to give their lives for the unique freedom only Americans are able to enjoy. I extend the call to all those unregistered militia forces who's belief in freedom is undeniable; Register, help your country should war arise. And you, lone rifleman ready to defend your country, you too can assist your country; Go to your local Federal or State military chapter, let state officials test your marksmanship and fitness for free, and you'll be granted the distinction of 'authorised militiaman'." The Federal Militia Registry contains over 250 different militia organisations and over 70,000 Americans in these militias, as well as over 30,000 people registered in the Viable Militiamen Registry as unorganised, possible manpower.

As a caveat to President Orville Bancroft's wise opinions regarding American Militias, we of the Blue Union Captaincy remind that . As sovereign Unions, even at such a distance, let us celebrate civil heroes on the lowest grassroot levels -- these communities we have created societies where our governments do not fear a population who is armed with weapons, knowledge, or opinions.

Office of the President

True, we cannot agree more with the Blue Union. A truly fair, free and equitable society does not need to fear arms-bearing citizens, but instead defend their right to possess weaponry, for in the nation's minute-men and militia lies the country's defence.

Orville Bancroft,
President of the United States
