In recognition to the progressive attitudes of the people of Nedernesië, the welcoming of the downtrodden and those running from war and other unfortunate circumstances, their dedication to peace and commerce as well as your people's long running relationship with Pohjanmaa; the alliance feels it is time to formalize this relationship by inviting Nedernesië to join the Democratic Defense Initiative. Alliance membership is already in agreement that the membership of Nedernesië will be a great addition to the alliance. With alliance agreement already secured all that is left is debate by your government and ultimately agreement to the

Dear Sir,

We wish to thank you and the entire DDI for the trust shown to Nedernesia that we may receive this invitation. Indeed, joining the DDI has been a question and discussion in Vrijpoort for many years. Naturally such a decision cannot be taken lightly and must be discussed and debated within the halls of the Senate. This process can take some time and should not be rushed. We therefore hope you understand that we cannot commit to a timeline until the Senate process is further underway.

All Nedernesian Senate proceedings are public and may be viewed on Senatelive.tv.ne except for closed committee sessions.

Should our government require further information from the DDI we will contact you via this channel.
