Upper House Elections Soon!
In less than one month, the Upper House Parliamentary elections will occur. This election is extremely important, because it determines the course our great nation will be setting. The two major coalitions; The Sophian Coalition, and the Anhäler Advancement Coalition (AAC) are battling for what field of research gets the most funding. The AAC has recently fallen into the hands of Dr. Richard Pierce, a man who just last year preformed the world's first kidney transplant. Dr. Pierce has been very outspoken on his views towards the current state of Anhalt. Claiming that the infrastructure, environment, and medicine are the most important things that science can give us. He and the entire AAC aim to give the greater amount of funding to Civic Engineering Development projects, as well as Energy projects.
The Sophian Coalition does not plan on losing its control of the Upper House. The ideals of the Sophian Coalition are the same as they have always been, that Physics and Astronomy (etc) are the more respectable sciences and deserve the most funding. Even people with no voting power for the Upper House are getting involved with this election. These Upper House elections are the most dividing since the elections of 1912, when violence broke out in the House of Parliament. Hopefully, these election are violent free.
