Software Development on the Rise
According to the Software Worker's and Researcher's Union (SWRU) that particular part of the economy will be seeing a sharp rise, more of a rise than it has been experiencing in the past. Due to a much higher demand, many young men have been signing up to work in this industry, and the supply will be much greater by the end of the summer.
Helper City site of Violence
Helper, a small town in the high desert of the south-west, has just been the site of a shoot out. Rather than face justice at the hands of several Volunteer Civilian Justice Posse's, Robert Hern and his brother William Hern, holed up in Emil's Tavern. For eight hours it was merely a hostage situation, however, the two brothers eventually tried to escape the bar, and a large shootout occurred. Four of the Civilian Justice volunteers were wounded, and the two brothers were shot dead.
Several witnesses have confirmed that the VCJP's made it clear they were just trying to bring the Hern brother's in for a trial. And that the Hern brothers fired the first shots. It was a sad day for Helper, but at least the murderous Hern brothers were stopped before they could kill again.
