Esteemed colleagues,

I would first like to congratulate you for being the beacon of the free world, always ready to defend it from any malicious intent, bent on creating dictatorships all over and to turn our world into a dystopia. Saaremaa has finally released itself from the fascist dictators but also managed to end the menace of the anarchic Post Delegationism. Both those ideologies and movements were ready to destroy everything that we held dear in this world.

Unfortunately, there are many other regimes similar to the one from Saaremaa that still threaten the world peace and are destroying the lives of the citizens that are unfortunate enough to be born in such a country. We are talking of our eastern neighbors, the Eternal Empire and the People's Republic of Cidonia. Even more to the west we are talking probably of an even more menacing creation, that being the Anti-State.

Saaremaa wants to be known in the modern history not for its fascist dictatorship, but for being part for a world wide union that fights for the defense of liberty and for that its ready to do anything necessary to help its neighbors and form a sanitary cordon between the free western world and the corrupt eastern world.

For that, Saaremaa would like to apply for membership in the Tripartite Agreement Alliance Organization, to be part of this noble crusade against dictatorships and oppression.

The Republic of Asylan is excited at the possibility of adding a new nation to the ranks of the Triparte Agreement. However we do wish to approach this topic with an ounce of caution. The new government has yet to be tested, and while we do not doubt the democratic intentions of the people of Saaremaa, we do wish to observe for awhile to ensure that the new government lives up to its promises. In the mean time, Asylan is willing to take on a number cooperative efforts with the new Democratic Republic as a gesture of goodwill. Department of Foreign Affairs Republic of Asylan

wishes to state it's support for the Ascension of Saaremaa into the folds of the TAAO.

To quote a precedent, the inclusion of Ostveg happened at a time just after the Agderike Crisis, and Ostveg was a new and budding nation. It is not irregular for the TAAO to take fresh and new Democracies, so that we may germinate freedom and liberty within them, and grow a strong and loyal ally.
With the inclusion of Saaremaa, the TAAO will gain a critical point for our Campaign of Liberty in securing another piece of Gunnlandia which will be without a doubt a major theater of action if the Shining Light of Freedom were to come crashing down, as the Cidonians or indeed the Eternal Empire were to march upon the Free World, they would suredly plunge the sword of their vast armies into Gunnlandia, whose attempts at creating Prosperity and Liberty are an affront to them.

With long held ties to the Kingdom of Saaremaa, a shared history, a end to a Cold War and a new chapter in Iverno-Saare relations, Ivernia does again state that Saaremaa would be a very real and actionable candidate for the TAAO.

We would like to also state to our colleagues from the Democratic Republic of Asylan that compared to what Agderike was, a semi-absolutist monarchy and only after the succession crisis it became modern Ostweg, the democratic constitutional monarchy, Saaremaa adopted constitutionalism in 1848 and it managed to create a democratic tradition without major scandals or frauds until the coup d'etat organized by the fascists and the military in 1953.

So, it may be erroneous to call Saaremaa a young democracy. Yes, it may be called a young republic, but we are still celebrating 105 years of continuous democratic process. In the end we hope that the wrong doings of the fascists that ruled this country for just only a year will not erase in the minds of foreign officials the centenary of Saare democratic tradition.

First a congratulations to you and your people for throwing off the yoke of tyranny. The Continental Republic supports the inclusion of Saaremaa into the Tripartite Agreement Alliance Organization and into the general fold of freedom loving nations. The Saare people have shown that they have no tolerance for the tyrant or his mindless supporters. The Anti-State and this Eternal Empire are real threats that have gone unchecked for too long, by enlarging our organization we ensure that our ideals and traditions continue to remain in an increasingly volatile world.

However, make no mistake, this economic and military alliance is not and shall not be treated as a springboard for glory. This organization requires service to your nation and the nations of this alliance. Only you can change what your nation is remembered for. We must also remember that while we must be a beacon of hope in this world, we can not help everyone. Before we can help others we must maintain our own freedom and our own security before we can be a service to the oppressed. That is the express purpose of this alliance and that should never be forgotten.

The High Kingdom of Ivernia has personally endorsed the Democratic Republic of Saaremaa, a close neighbour and ally of the High Kingdom, and soon to be a fellow member of the Gunnlandian Union.

If the Continental Republic cannot get over the fact that a nation has the right in our TAAO to simply recognise a nation, then the High Kingdom of Ivernia shall have no choice but seriously reconsider it's postition within this Agreement, which seems to us to be more and more, Sylvania's little Empire. A union of immensely disproportionate hegemony and influence.

To Dathí Mac Suibhne,

If the High Kingdom is so willing to tear apart the Agreement over the addition of a socialist nation supporting an undemocratic and anarchist movement then so be it. The Continental Republic has a right to protest support of the anarchists; we have a right to support and rescind support of whoever we wish. While you may think this alliance is becoming nothing more than our "little empire" I can personally remember the Ivernian government and people being overjoyed, perhaps to the point of greed, that a nation such as Sylvania was willing to join into an alliance with them. I would remind you of your proximity to dangerous countries such as the Eternal Empire, the religious fanatics of Ostria and the anti-democratic communists of Cidonia. I would also remind you that President Rygaard and the Continental Congress have gone to great lengths to convince the people of Sylvania that joining into an alliance with you was a good idea. Drop the agreement and Sylvania will remain for years to come regardless, the same cannot be said with certainty for Ivernia.

The Republic shares of colleagues of the High Kingdom of Ivernia, this alliance does not serve every whim of Sylvania's desire. Sylvania appears obsessed with living in the past, denying entry to the Triparte based only on the fact that a sovereign nation chose to recognize group of people who brought down the Empire of the Danes, who Sylvania themselves decry. On top of this, Sylvania also takes it upon itself to condemn fellow members in the eyes of the public for what appears to be no reason. Sylvania has become erratic at best, and it seems at this time that Asylan must begin to evaluate its position in this alliance, if one can even call it an alliance anymore. Seeing the attitude of the Continental Republic of Sylvania in regards to the members of the TAAO, its allies we may have seen a glimpse of a possible future, how we would be treated if we would have been part of this alliance. We, at the beginning have thought that this alliance was supposed to unite democratic republics, who are ready to defend eachother for the sake of their ideals of liberty. But it seems that our own ideals are no on the likes of the leaders of Sylvania. We believed that we would have been allowed to follow our own national policies, not be obliged to align itself to other's policy.

We would not abandon socialism, especially when so much Saare blood was spilled for this idea and we won't accept the propaganda presenting the Wendzieman revolution as being both authoritarian on one side and also anarchist and chaotic on the other. If our entrance into the TAAO meant that we have to renounce our people's aspirations for the sake of foreigners, we will no accept such a thing.

Those being said, Saaremaa formally withdraws its application into the TAAO but still hopes that its relations with the Kingdom of Ivernia and the Republic of Asylan will remain cordial as ever. We would also hope the same for the relations with Sylvania and we would welcome it, but it depends on the Sylvanians.
