ASSOCIATION OF MONARCHIST STATES


The Mission
The Association of Monarchist States is a humble collection of nations whom have followed the tradition of monarchy. This association does not discriminate between types of monarchism- absolute, elective, constitutional, or composite. This collection of states aims to work together to enrich economic, cultural, academic, and political aspects. The Association of Monarchist States acts as a forum for discussion on important topics as well as a forum for cooperation in the most intricate of situations or issues. Additionally, the Association of Monarchist States is aimed at developing professional and humanitarian programs to better aid the members and the greater world.

This association is decidedly not, in any way, a military alliance. While individual nations may forge agreements, the Association of Monarchist States specifically bans the transition of this body to becoming a military alliance.

The Association of Monarchist States will act in a fashion to bring equity in the voices of its members. Each nation is responsible for supplying a representative and their requisite costs. Furthermore, the costs of the Association will be spread evenly among Member states, regardless of their wealth and/or stature. Associated Members (not full members) are admitted on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by all members. Associated Members share in the equal cost as do full members.

The Association is headquartered in Chagny, Kingdom of Bourgogne, HFE. The Headquarters facility has been gifted to the association as a result of donations by the Imperial Crown and the Tarusan Tsar.

Leadership and Officers

Leadership is based on a rotating position of Consul. This is largely a courtesy title. Every June 15th, the consulship will rotate to another nation. Consuls are expected to do the following:
*Approve meeting agendas
*Act as a spokesperson for the Association
*Handle any breach of Association rules by its members

Other positions include the Association Chair, who helps run meetings and enforces parliamentary, debate, and/or speaking procedures. The Treasurer; whose job it is to deal with the Association's finances. The Director who acts as the primary records keeper. These positions rotate every 3 years. These titles are not courtesy titles and unlike the title of Consul, are not lifelong titles.

On behalf of el Continental Imperio de Justosia, my office is very heartened to hear of the inception of an Association of Monarchist States. I very much believe my sovereign will be as well. Any treaties or entry into foreign alliances & organizations must be approved by the Imperial Senado. However seeing as how that is currently led by our Nationalist party, I forsee very few hurdles.

Justosia & its territories are very much interested in applying.

The Empire will be taking its rightful position in the organization as the Imperial family donated to help jump start the organization. A forum for those of royal lineage which has for centuries been on the decline would be of great benefit in ensuring the remainder of the royal families can maintain their place in the world and successfully carry out the duties granted to them by a higher authority.

Your Excellencies,

The United Kingdom of Beira, Natal and Andros is happy to observe that the nations of the world are coming together, irrespective of their political positions and ways of governance. We hope that the association isn't open only to traditionalist powers where the authority of the state emanates from the monarch's authority, but rather is open to liberal constitutional monarchies too. Should this be the norm, the United Kingdom of Beira, Natal and Andros is interested to become a full member of the association, while the Empire of Natal and the Duchy of the Andros Isles be allowed to function as observer members of this institution.

The United Kingdom is interested in developing ties with all nations of the world and sees the Association of Monarchist States as a potential path of cooperation in humanitarian domains, but also in the cooperation for research on social and political sciences, as a way of studying what is the status and future of a monarch and a throne in the current global environment.

The United Kingdom has no interest of forming military alliance at this very moment but it happy to cooperate and see trade ties develop between the nations of the world, as our outlook is based on the need to defuse world tensions so that the world won't reach the level of tensions where global wars are are a possible element of the world of tomorrow.

In this vein, the Kingdom of Caria formally submits its request to accede to the organisation, with a view to furthering its relations with fellow monarchies. The Kingdom is prepared to furnish a delegation and shoulder all necessary costs for membership.

Niomonnach Clan Council

Comprised of persisting title and landowners with respect to the rejection of Engellexian Mercantilism and the advent of Nievish Socialism: we are the Clans of Nieveland that hold council in Gunnvale. Today we comprise leadership in counties, parishes, and small cities. Clan members are both independent and members of the Nievish Socialist Party, and what we intend and propose is opportunity for mentorship and dialogue for young Niomonnach Clansfolk to experience and understand the persisting legacies of Europe's great families.

We are not seeking recognition or voting status, rather a message of intent that young Niommonach will soon be seeking learning opportunities in this association.

We are in doubt about our eligibility to join this organisation. On the one hand, the Rheinbund is a Kingdom. On the other hand, the King is chosen by the Heads of State of the Principalities and Citizenries forming the Rheinbund. But apart from that, eleven memberstates are principalities, i.e. heriditary monarchies with Sovereign Princes as Heads of State.
Given our own monarchial traditions, it is our wish to maintain contacts with other monarchies through this Association. We are willing to send a delegate and pay all required contributions. Should the Rheinbund not be eligible to join, we would like to maintain contact in a different way.
