Diplomatic Communique
Continental Republic of Sylvania

The Republic of Asylan and her business interests wishes to approach the Continental Republic of Sylvania on matters regarding international trade. Below we have outlines some of the Asylan government and various Asylan private business proposals that would be of interest to the state.

Asylan Government
  • The Asylan government wishes to diversify the country's global oil importation. Much of Asylan oil is produced domestically, however it cannot meet the full demand. The Asylan government has formed the Asylan Oil Corporation, a publicly owned company in response to this need, and wishes to negotiate with top oil providers in Sylvania to have Sylvanian oil make up of around 20% of imported oil assets.
  • The Ostwen National Gas LLC has asked that the Asylan government propose a contract to sell national gas to Sylvanian interests
  • Ease restrictions of business and tourist visas to allow for easy and bureaucracy free travel between our two nations to allow for easier economic cooperation and development.
  • Mutually lower respective tariffs on areas of needed production from both Asylan and Sylvania.
  • The Asylan military has begun a period of restructuring and "modernization" in the form of military structure and strategy and will be soon decommissioning a host of military ships. While our only full fleet carrier has already peaked interest in another buyer, Asylan will be shedding five destroyer class ships and two battlecruiser class ships which will be replaced domestically with a different class of ship.
  • In accordance with this new military policy, the Asylan government will be looking to purchase a number helicopters for short range naval use aboard ships on the high seas. Sylvanian aeronautics firms are considered of exceptional quality and the Asylan government wishes to contract their use.
  • With this agreement also, the Asylan Naval Yards are open to full use for Sylvanian needs in the future, with the pricing of such vessels appropriate to the ally Sylvania has been to Asylan.
  • Our final proposal is the opening of military naval posts on both Sylvania and Asylan for ease of movement between long distances for each country. In times of extreme stress we also propose that each country's shipping vessels may pass through these ports with no administrative hold from each country to facilitate need.

We look forward to the response of the Sylvanian government and hope that trade between our nations can continue to prosper.
