Tim Confirmed As Eastern Pacific Police Service Commissioner
Minister Of Immigration Tim has a new hat to wear in The East Pacific, Commissioner. Tim, the delegate's nominee for the position, was confirmed by the Magisterium as the newest Commissioner of the Eastern Pacific Police Service succeeding God-Emperor after his election to Provost prevented him from continuing to serve in the post. Tim was confirmed by the Magisterium unanimously.
Magisterium Record
When the Magisterium wasn't busy confirming Tim's nomination, there was plenty else it was doing. Aside from admitting two more members, Macordie and Severisen, the Magisterium passed a Criminal Code by unanimous consent and in a record amount of time. The vote closed five days early due to all the eligible Magisters casting their vote. One of the provisions of the Criminal Code was the election of a foreperson to maintain it, and the Magisterium elected Viceroy Aelitia as its first foreperson. The Magisterium also passed an amendment of the Concordat regarding receiving titles of nobility from a foreign government, unconstitutional under the current version of the Concordat, and the region only waits for a referendum to be held by Viceroy Aelitia in order to determine the constitutionality of receiving titles of nobility. Finally, the Magisterium unanimously passed the Education Reform Act, which largely turned back the changes of the Second Education Act.
The Ministry Of Culture And Education Moves And Shakes
The first Minister Of Culture And Education, Vaculatestar, certainly got the Ministry moving. He established the inaugural People's Choice Awards, announced the nominees, and the votes were being collected. He also establish a movie night and a Cards Against Humanity night. However, before the People's Choice Award winners were announced or the first movie was watched, Vac shook up the ministry by suddenly resigned his post. Delegate Ramaeus appointed University Of The East Pacific Chancellor British Grand Pacific to succeed him, and he is expanding on the wildly successful CAH night by accepting submissions for a TEP Expansion Pack. However, it remains to be seen whether or not citizens of the region will ever be able to accept their People's Choice Awards or mock any B movies in Mystery Science Theater 3000esque style.
